Snow or shine, Penny’s got everything she needs! ☃️❄️

We always make sure our kitty clients are well cared for—especially when unpredictable weather is on the way! During today’s visit, Penny got fresh water (including a full fountain!), a tidy litter box, and plenty of playtime with her favorite laser toy. We even made sure she had extra food just in case the snow makes it tricky to get back on schedule.

Did you know that cats can become infected with Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (also known as H5N1, “bird flu,” or HPAI) from wild birds and even their droppings? 🦠🐦 Keeping your feline friend exclusively indoors is the best way to protect them during this outbreak!

Avoid contact with wild birds or backyard poultry and their droppings, wash hands after being outside, and leave outdoor shoes at the door to help prevent the spread inside your home. Raw food or unpasteurized milk are a no-go when it comes to keeping your kitty safe from avian flu!
