Creature Feature of the Week: Leopard Gecko!

Care Difficulty: Easy
- These geckos are low-maintenance and perfect for beginners. They need a simple setup with proper heating, a secure enclosure, and regular cleaning.

Diet: Insectivorous
- Feed daily with a variety of feeder insects like crickets, Dubia roaches, and mealworms. Boost their nutrition by gutloading and dusting with calcium (with D3 if needed). Occasional vitamin supplements can also be a great addition.

Behavior: Calm and observant
- Leopard geckos are known for their gentle nature and entertaining, nocturnal hunting behavior. They may be a bit shy at first, but with regular handling, they become more interactive over time.

New group classes starting soon! Dogs of all ages are welcome; proof of current vaccination is required (rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella), and class sizes are limited. This is day 256 for our buddy Red, he has had lookers but no takers yet. We would love to find a playful adopter for him one who knows the big guy needs room to run, an occasional wrestle session, and some lovin'. HIS ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY ANOTHER ADOPTER FOR THE RIGHT FIT 🙏💯🥰

Red has been waiting the longest of all our current pups 💔 and he will need time to adjust again to house rules. He is such an awesome buddy, just a big ol' baby who loves to play, and forgets how big he is ❤️ We recommend older children in the home, littles would be too tiny for this big guy until he gets the kennel energy out of his system and builds a bond 👍

Red likes some dogs, but not others. Seems to prefer chill ones 😎 over the hyper ones. A good buddy to play with would be good for him 😊 He is likely not the cat type tho 🐾

Red (almost 2 year old Pittie, about 60 lbs) would love a good walk, time to sniff, and room to run in a yard. He would love an adopter who is down for some playing and wrestling!! Occasional neck and ear scratches would be welcomed too 😆
