Thank You for an Incredible Day at the 2025 St Lucie County Safety Festival

We had such an amazing time at the St Lucie County Safety Festival at Clover Park

It was an honor to stand alongside first responders and community organizations who work every day to keep our families safe

From live demonstrations to Touch a Truck activities to kids zones and vendor booths this event had something for everyone—and we loved meeting so many of you and your pups

We loved sharing what we do and connecting with families who care about making a difference

Major Milestone for Nicole and Leo
Help us celebrate Leo, who just passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen Test and his DTE Service Dog Public Access Test

Leo is now officially a Service Dog in training and already proving to be a dependable and loyal partner

His handler Nicole is currently serving in the military and was just promoted to Major! What an incredible achievement that speaks to her leadership and dedication

Dogs work faster than Diabetes Monitors??

Congratulations to Jason and Piper
We are so proud to celebrate Piper as a fully qualified Diabetic Medical Alert Service Dog for her handler Jason

This team has worked incredibly hard and now their bond is stronger than ever

Jason shared with us that Piper alerts before his monitors go off with 85 percent accuracy
She also brings him his medical kit and assists with other everyday tasks that bring safety and peace to his life

Why “Place” Is the Most Underrated Dog Command 🐾

In this video, Shelley teaches one of the most powerful but often overlooked commands in dog training—“Place.”

This command gives your dog a designated raised surface (like a place cot) to go to and stay until released. It creates calm, structure, and trust in your home and out in public.

✔ Prevents your dog from bolting out of the car
✔ Keeps them calm when guests arrive
✔ Stops door lunging when the bell rings
✔ Gives your dog a predictable, peaceful reset point

We teach this early in our training process because of the massive difference it makes for families.

Randi and Mike have put in so much hard work to reach this moment. With Randi retiring soon from her career as a nurse, it has long been her dream to give back through the healing presence of therapy dogs.

Now, that dream is coming to life. Baxter is officially a Therapy Dog in training and on his way to bringing comfort, support, and joy to patients in need.

Join our fast-growing pack here at Dog Training Elite! Our team is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person with a passion for helping our Brand grow and ensuring our users operate to the highest potential on the systems/tools provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions on various brand-wide systems, including the CRM, G-Suite, Twilio, LearningZen and DogStar DMS
• Document and communicate user account details per franchise to the billing department for accurate Tech Fee billing
• Provide support on user system issues as they arise
• Manage various pilot and Beta programs to improve systems as needed, identifying key regional participants, and gathering feedback to determine a brand-wide fit
• Plan, develop, and conduct individual and group training related to brand-wide systems
• Monitor system production to ensure compliance and quality
• Develop documents and videos for automated system procedures, manuals, and requirements
• Promote a culture of feedback and communication as we work to improve processes
• Help identify process improvements
• Help implement process changes
• Create, enhance, and improve various documents and videos on a bi-lingual scale
• Coordinate projects with other team members as needed

Salary: $44,000 with potential increase after 90-day review
Benefits:
• Medical/Dental benefits
• 10 days paid flex time (after 90-day probationary period)
• 2 paid volunteer days per calendar year
