🐾 Rescue chores never really end around here! Laundry is done, meds have been picked up from the vet, and now it’s time for everyone to enjoy some fresh air while I tackle a few things around the house. Momma and her babies will be relaxing safely in the playpen, and the rest of the crew is ready for outside time. 💙🐶

Momma had other plans tonight. 😂🐾

Even with a big playpen all set up, she decided the crate was where she wanted to be with her babies. The door stays open, so she can come and go, but she likes having her little family tucked away in their cozy spot. Everyone is doing great, babies are nursing well, and Momma is happy and relaxed. ❤️

Today was a heartbreaking day for Momma and her babies.

Before I left for a doctor’s appointment, I checked on Momma and the puppies and everyone was fine. I was only gone for about an hour, and when I came home, I noticed right away that something was wrong.

There was nothing in with Momma and the babies besides the dog bed she was lying in. Sadly, this was due to accidental suffocation, not anything medical or contagious.

I called the vet immediately, and they had us come in right away. Sadly, we lost another puppy today.

The vet checked Momma and the remaining puppies, and thankfully everyone else is healthy and doing well.

Momma is eating, drinking, and caring for her babies. She’s doing extremely well, and we’ll continue keeping a very close eye on her and the puppies.

Thank you everyone for the love, support, and kind words for this little family. ❤️🐾

🐾 Ember and the babies got to enjoy some outside time today. ☀️🌿

A huge thank you to Leslee for donating the pool. It has been the perfect little spot for Ember and her puppies to relax safely and comfortably.

The neighbors came over to meet them, and Ember did amazing. She was so sweet and really took a liking to one of my neighbors. ❤️

Ember and all of her babies are doing extremely well, and we are so happy to see her settling in and enjoying life with her little ones. 🐾💕
