When Red, aka Clever Me, my Appendix QH passed away, LJS Shiitake, aka Gatsby, had some enormous shoes to fill !! Red began our Recognized Show career at Second Level. Missing the opportunity to get our USDF Bronze, Rider Award Medal.
Red completed his career before completing the requirements for the USDF Rider Award Program at PSG. LJS Shiitake has fulfilled Red's Legacy, giving me both my USDF Bronze Medal, and this year, Silver, Rider Medals !! I am so proud of LJS Shiitake and our progress through the Levels ! Shiitake has exceeded my expectations in every way ! I am looking forward to where our journey takes us next !

Riot had his first show yesterday! He placed THIRD in his Intro Level Test A with a 61.25% and ended with a FIRST PLACE in his Intro Level Test B with 70%!! His owner & human, Pam Brumfield, couldn't be more proud of her 4-year old! Congrats Pam & Riot!! ❤

Maresfield, a private, laid back stable in Unionville with 20+/- horses, is seeking Weekend Barn Help (Saturday & Sunday AM/PM chores).

Duties include: Feeding, turning in & out, stall cleaning, First Aid (as needed) and general barn duties.

Applicant should be attentive to detail, responsible and have experience with handling horses and barn work. Must be 18 years or older with own transportation.

At least 2 references are appreciated.

Pay is between $45 - $60/day, depending on experience level, work ethic and responsibility level.

TOBY: 14 year old, 14.3 Rocky Mountain gelding. Chocolate with flowing flaxen mane and tail and adorable. Great on the trails, with no buck, rear, bolt, or kick. If he startles, he startles in place. Toby has been on the trail all summer and is comfortable in water, around dogs, crossing covered bridges and is not afraid of cars or bikes. He will ride out alone or with others and can lead or follow with no problem. He has comfortable gaits and a good stop when you want him to stop. He is wearing shoes in the front and not in the rear. He is an easy keeper and fun to have around. Truly a nice gelding whose owner is older and not riding now. Toby is a registered Rocky Mountain with the name Toby’s Moonraker. $6,000 OBO
