Our herd is spoiled and gets pumpkins for treats in the fall, which they absolutely love. Some of our girls are pumpkin fanatics and it shows. I walked out to the barn tonight and found we have a few does who go a little crazy for their treats and have now turned into orange aliens. Below are just a few of the girls with stained up faces, giving everyone a good laugh. Don’t forget babies will be here soon we are just about a month away!!

This past weekend the herd all got fresh pens and got to help out in the cleaning process. Our two youngest does had to inspect the tractor to ensure it was in tip top shape before I could use it. These two cuties are keeper kids from our summer group and are growing up nicely! Our breed does are just about a month to two months away from kidding and we can’t wait to see what we will get! Stay tuned!

We’ve been super busy here at KNF Farms with a wedding, honeymoon and classes starting back up we haven’t been able to post much. Now that things have started to slow down we wanted to announce the good news!!! We currently have five bred does who will be kidding in late December to early January and should be excepting 11-13 kids. These kids will have a lot to offer in flashiness. With the breedings in this group we are expecting moonspots, potential for silver and overall flashy colors. Keep an eye out as we get closer to the due dates!! This cutie is Buckeye, he is still nursing off of mom but will be available once weaned. Buckeye is an ADGA registerable buckling who is covered in moonspots. His dam is blue eyed, polled, and moonspotted making him quite the package. He is disbudded, UTD on vaccines, and comes from an annually clean tested herd. He’s located 20 mintues south of Fort Wayne IN. Private message if interested.
