🐾🦃 As we prepare to sit with our loved ones and enjoy the Thanksgiving feast, we can't forget our furry loved ones, as well. Being prepared and mindful that their little bellies are different than ours, here are some tips of what is safe to give them and what is not. However, it's always safe to stick with just their regular dog & cat food. And a few extra cuddles on the couch when everyone is finished 💜🐾

Happy Hump-day!

As we fast approach our Independence Day, we wanted to share some helpful tips on safety for fireworks and pets!

It's time to start now if you have pets that aren't fans of fireworks:
🐾 Safe space to hide
🐾 Tv or radio on
🐾 Microchip and tags updated
🐾 Calming treats or their favorite treats ready
🐾 Extra functioning gates up and doors secured

Staying safe during this time is essential 💜🐾

🥵 It's just too HOT! 🥵

With the hot weather upon us, it's always safe to know the signs of heat stroke/exhaustion in your pets. Also, be aware of very hot pavement and concrete when taking them for walks. It's better to walk them early in the morning or later in the evening when the ground has had a chance to cool.

PLEASE be aware of how long you let your animals be outside. You should only allow a quick potty break and then bring them back inside. And if you see something, say something! 💜🐾 Help keep them safe!

In 2000, Amber started her career in the Veterinary industry and is still currently a Veterinary Technician after 19 years. She has attended the Veterinary Technology program at Bakersfield College, Bakersfield, CA and at Pierce College, Los Angeles, CA and is currently completing her degree in Animal Science / Veterinary Technology with Cedar Valley College. She has been fortunate to work in different types of Animal Hospitals treating not only cats and dogs but also guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, exotic reptiles and birds. She began providing pet sitting services for veterinary clients in 2012 and continues those services while still working as a local Veterinary Technician. She grew up with cats and horses her entire life and is now the proud mother of her two cats: Ranger and Figaro, and her two dogs: Jack and Mini. Along with all her fur-babies, she is the proud wife to her husband Corey and the proud mother of her daughter, McKenna, and son Liam.

With her background and love of animals it is likely no surprise that Amber holds the safety, comfort, and happiness of Amber’s Pampered Pets, LLC clients’ pets very dear. She takes great joy in working with animals and is very glad to know she can bring dedicated, loving pet owner’s peace of mind when they cannot be with their best pals.
