Nail caps. Pros and Cons

Pros..
Cats can still scratch but not damage furniture or others( people or other pets in the household).
Affordable alternatives
Easy application for most cats
Can be used for short or long term
Cons
Must be replaced every 4-6 weeks depending on the cat activity level and growth if kitten.
Cats will take time to adjust to having mail caps on.. When first applied may try to but and chew off.. Will need an adjustment period.Where caps may need to be applied more frequently.
They have limited hunting ability
Cats also can lose their grip so climbing cat be difficult for some ( others have no problem with this).
