Here is a new way overgrown horse from today. I did a half trim to compare how much and how different a horse hoof can grow. The bars were extensive.

Just a reminder to everyone in this warmer weather, as everything turns to mud and farm tea! Ensure you are cleaning and using thrush prevention on your horses hoofs to save yourself alot of headaches.
This 2 part thrush treatment is some of the most aggressive treatment I have ever used to date. It permeates deep into the tissue drying out moisture and keeping a clean surface.
Works like nothing else, especially for deep solcus thrush.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to fall/mud season

So I had a client come across this 2 part thrush solution and have found it to work really well with deep Solcus thrush as well as white line deterioration. It is a Copper sulfate and vinegar base solution.
Make sure to clean hoof well then spray entire surface. You then apply hoof clay into any cavity or the frog crease.
You can find this on their online store at
"The Blue spray".
Hopefully this can help as a new solution to your thrush problems especially going into mud season.
Even if you do not have active thrush please still treat the entire bottom of your horses hoofs for preventive care.

We have finished the 2024 season and I just wanted to thank all my clients for their business, loyalty and support. I couldn't do it without you all.
We have had the busiest season ever recorded in the records. I am going into 20 years of being a Farrier and 17 years operating my business and am truly thankful to God for his blessings and all my clients who wind up being good friends.
