Have you met Bianca? This pretty little princess is practically pocket-sized and easy to carry around or snuggle with. Bianca came to Animal Aid with a shattered leg that wasn't able to be fixed. So now she's a tiny tripawd with a giant smile - or equally adorable awkward face. Bianca is shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly and is ready to find that perfect person who will give her a safe and loving forever home where she will be cherished and receive her required amount of daily cuddles.

Meet Cecil — the sweetest little survivor!
This special boy has already brought together an entire rescue community, and now he's ready to bring joy into your home.

Cecil was rescued by our amazing friends at T-Town TNR, a group that works tirelessly to help community cats through spay and neuter. But every now and then, they come across a cat who's just too affectionate to return to outdoor life — and Cecil is one of those gems.

Cecil is a young, charming tripod kitty (he's missing his back left leg, but don’t tell him that — it hasn’t slowed him down one bit!). He adores other cats, gets along great with dogs, and could spend hours lounging by the window soaking in the sights of ā€œcat TV.ā€ His gentle nature and curious spirit make him the perfect indoor companion.

He's just a few years old, full of love, and now all he needs is you.

Let’s get this sweet boy the cozy home he deserves!

🐾 BIANCA UPDATE 🐾

Catch her THIS WEEKEND (6/21) on Fox23 Adopt A Survivor Segment

Now, while we're unsure what exactly happened to Bianca, we know she needed help! Found with an injured leg, our vets determined she needed an amputation. She's a young girl with lots of love to give, weighing 40 lbs, she's a great medium sized dog! Her surgery site is completely healed and she's ready to get out of boarding!

She's been shy, but recently had a sleepover with one of the staff! She loved laying on the couch, all the soft blankets, and gentle scratches! She would love to find an adopter or foster who would give her time to show how truly amazing she is! Can you give this girl a chance? Apply at animalaid.org/foster or animalaid.org/adopt šŸ’ž

Trixie is still looking for her forever home. She has been with her foster since December! She is a pup who has begun to bring our rescue communities together. Her journey started with Pause 4 Paws and once they realized that she was going to need some further medical evaluations, they reached out to us for help! We've found out she has a pancreatic deficiency. She requires a enzyme daily on her food to help regulate her pancreas! It comes in powder form and just needs to be sprinkled on her food twice daily!

Now, onto the fun stuff from her foster mama!
She is about 1.5 years old, possible shepherd/heeler mix. She LOVES other dogs and does fine with my cats. She is shy to warm up to new people but she is so loving and playful once she trusts you. She loves fetch, tug, and just laying in the sun. We recently took her on a hiking adventure and she loved it! She is the perfect size at 42 pounds!
Interested in adopting her find our application at www.animalaid.org/adopt.

Sable, a brave pup who has been through more than most dogs her age.

Sable’s story began with tragedy when she was hit by a car on Route 66. Thankfully, an animal control officer from Sapulpa found her and rushed her to the shelter. When they found her, her hind leg was dangling – a heartbreaking sight for such a young dog. We couldn't let her suffer.

We immediately got Sable to an emergency vet, where it was determined her hip was out of socket. After sedating her for comfort, the vet was able to pop it back into place, and with time, crate rest, and a special sling, she’s on the mend. But Sable’s road to recovery is just beginning. She’s still nervous, understandably so, after all she’s endured before reaching us at only under one year old. Our vet team and dedicated animal coordinator are working hard to help her feel safe again, but she still needs your support.

Together, we can help pups like Sable find the love and healing they deserve. Every dollar you donate goes toward her care and the care of other animals in need. If you can't donate, sharing Sable’s story will make a huge difference too. Together, we can save lives, one paw at a time.

Orion's Journey: From Broken Bones to Open Hearts

On a cold, rainy March evening, a young dog lay trembling on the side of the road. He’d been hit by a car, his back legs injured, his body sore and soaked from the storm. But even in that dark moment, Orion’s story took a turn for the better—because a kind-hearted stranger stopped, scooped him up, and refused to let him face the night alone.

Thanks to that Good Samaritan, Orion made it safely to a veterinary clinic. There, X-rays revealed multiple pelvic fractures, mostly centered around his hip. The right side was badly damaged and would need surgical repair. It was clear Orion had a long road ahead, but he had something just as important as medical care: people who believed in him.

After surgery and the beginning of heartworm treatment, Orion was welcomed into a loving foster home. He spent the next eight weeks in crate rest—cozy, cared for, and surrounded by love. His foster mom and her gentle pups became his healing team, offering cuddles, encouragement, and a safe space to recover. Through it all, Orion never lost his sweet spirit. He accepted every dose of medicine, every careful touch, with the quiet trust of a dog who knew he was finally safe.

When his follow-up appointment came, the news was everything they’d hoped for: his healing was right on track. Crate rest was over. Slowly but surely, Orion was allowed to stretch his legs, enjoy short walks, and rediscover the joy of just being a dog again.

Today, Orion is thriving. At around 2 years old and 40 pounds, he’s a total love bug—gentle, affectionate, and easy to be around. He walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and even knows how to sit like a perfect gentleman. He’s great with easygoing dog friends, though he'd prefer to skip the chaos of puppies or overly rowdy playmates.

Orion’s journey from the roadside to recovery has been nothing short of inspiring. He’s living proof of how compassion and care can transform a life. Now all he needs is a forever family to continue that journey with.

If you think you might be the home Orion’s been waiting for, reach out to us at [email protected] or fill out an application at www.animalaid.org/adopt.
He’s ready to bring love, loyalty, and a little extra sunshine to your life.

Amelia Update

This sweet and resilient girl has already been through so much. At the end of May, she was hit by a bus — a terrifying ordeal that could have ended much differently. Incredibly, she survived without any broken bones or fractures. While she did suffer painful bruising, muscle trauma, and scrapes, she showed an incredible will to heal.

Just this week, she was spayed, and during the procedure, the vet discovered extensive bruising to the broad ligament of her uterus — lingering signs of the trauma she endured. Thankfully, there was no internal bleeding, which is a hopeful sign that her body is continuing to heal from the inside out.

She’s also being treated for an ear infection, and has now received her vaccines and microchip. She's just finished antibiotics for kennel cough and is still on medication for a mild lingering cough, but she's recovering well and settling into a loving foster home.

With your help, we can continue to support her medical care and get her ready for the forever home she so deeply deserves. Every little bit helps this brave girl on her road to a brighter future. šŸ’•šŸ¾

šŸ” ADOPT DIESEL – ONE OF OUR LONGEST RESIDENTS NEEDS A HERO 🐾

Meet Diesel, our sweet senior boy who’s been waiting far too long for his forever home.

Diesel is deaf and elderly—but don’t let that fool you. He’s healthy, gentle, and overflowing with love. He’s happiest curled up beside you, being your loyal couch companion. His heart is full of affection, and he just wants someone to share it with.

He's been through a lot, yet he’s never stopped believing that his special someone is out there. Someone who sees past his age and hears his love, even if he can’t hear theirs. šŸ’›

Diesel has been working with a wonderful trainer who will help you understand how to communicate with him—he’s already got the hang of hand signals and is eager to bond.

No cats, please, but he has plenty of love for people.

If you’ve got room in your heart and on your couch, Diesel is ready to fill both. Let’s give this boy the golden years he truly deserves.

Introducing Pepper!! 😼 Isn't he handsome?? Pepper is a food driven, and very vocal boy. He's affectionate but also an explorer. He doesn't mind other cats and likes people, but he is an independent guy. He likes to be held, but will let you know when he's ready to move on to his next adventure! He enjoys sitting on the window sill and relaxing in his favorite bed. He likes to be cuddly on his own time and as long as it fits into his list to do list for the day šŸ˜Ž Could he be the next purr-fect addition to your family?!

Remy is the most happy-go-lucky pup you’ve ever met. 🐶 Finding his furever home would just make his day! šŸ’•

He came to us with a severe case of parvo, he's made a full recovery and is living the life he deserves!! He's your typical male puppy, rambunctious and playful, always wanting to play with his foster sister. But as much as he loves playing, cuddling is his favorite. At 40 pounds he makes a great cuddle buddy! He'll plop right onto your lap no matter where you are! He's ready to land in YOUR lap next!
