Bama and River tied this morning! We will be looking at an October 17th due date. Fingers crossed she took! This is and will be their last litter. Both will be retired and couch potatoes after this litter. Atlas and Luna will take the reins and carry on the family!

Haven’t posted in awhile since the loss of Vic. River and her daughter, Luna. Bama and his Step-son, Atlas. Since we don’t have another “wife” for Bama, we decided to let he and River have one last litter again before retiring both of them. River is due any time for next heat, and when that happens, we will let Bama hang out with his girlfriend again. This will be the only litter this year. Next spring, we will let Atlas and Luna have a litter. Thank you everyone!

When I brought Vic home this morning from the vet after she had passed away, I let all the pack out to see her one last time. These pups are truly “Gentle Giants” with the best hearts. Luna and Atlas immediately ran to the spot where Vic laid and just kept smelling her. Bama and River slowly walked to her. Once there, it’s like Bama and River let the kids see her first and then Bama slowly nudged Vic and smelled of her and then looked at me. River went under Vic’s arm to try and wake her up almost and was very confused with her not moving I broke down watching all this. Both Luna and River whined while watching Vic. Bama just stood like her guardian one last time, watching over her while I dug a grave under our cypress tree where she will have company and the pack can visit every day. Breaks my heart she left us so early in her life but I felt so much love today from everyone and seeing our pack loving her one last time. One of a kind giant pup.

I don’t even know how to start or what to say, but we lost our big lovable Vic this morning. This hurts so much to post....

I don’t even know how to start or what to say, but we lost our big lovable Vic this morning. This hurts so much to post. Yesterday she was her crazy self playing and harassing the others. Didn’t feel good last night and so we put Vic with Bama overnight to let her have some down time. She wasn’t better early this morning so I ran her to the vet and she showed no signs of a twisted belly but they thought she might have a slight twist. So they put her under to run a tube and found where there was a slight blockage. But during this her heart stopped and they were unable to revive her. Again, this hurts so much because she was our crazy aunt Vic to all the puppies and pack. She loved everything and everyone. It sucks that in a matter of hours you can lose a giant of a pup with no warning. She will be laid in the yard so our pack can always see her. We have the least amount of pictures of Victoria because she can never sit still and just constantly loves to play with everyone.

Happy Birthday to our first litter, the Reindeer Pack! They will forever hold a special place in our hearts being Bama and River’s first babies! Happy 2 years to everyone!

We are good in Oklahoma! Dogs enjoying all being in the house and front porch together lol. Just heavy rain and winds. The tornadoes keep missing us and don’t last long when they form. Crazy November weather!

Bama is just awesome. He’s still intact and is our pack daddy but Atlas is the new man on campus but loves his stepdad, Bama. And Bama loves him. Both are intact males but act like father son. Bama is almost 5 1/2 and Atlas is around 7 months.
