AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Monroe, spayed female, ~4 year old yellow/gold lab.

ADOPT ME!!!
My name is Monroe. I am looking for my furever home. I was found running the desert by a Cañada Hills Animal Hospital employee. All of my medical needs have been taken care of by my foster mom. I am now spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I am so grateful foster mom caught me!

I love to play ball, go for walks/hikes, and snuggle. My favorite thing is my ball! I always have at least one with me. Playing ball before foster mom heads to work helps me relax. I wish she could spend all day petting and playing ball with me.

I have grown to like my foster dog brother, too. I look to him for guidance on so many things. At my new home I might like another dog friend, so that I am not lonely. But it will take me some time to warm up to them. At first I like my space. Before being found I had to defend myself a lot so it takes me some time to realize other dogs are friends not foes. I do alright at doggy daycare and dog parks but I prefer less of a crowd.

I have 2 foster brother cats that are extremely friendly and like to snuggle a lot. It took me a while to get use to their snuggles.

I have been around kids ranging from 2 to 7 but not consistently and they do make me and foster mom a bit nervous. I have heard foster mom say older respectful children might be better especially since I only see the food not the fingers. I like adults better anyway.

I walk well on a leash, do not pull. I know some basic commands, load in/out of the vehicle, and will wait for meals. I really like being a house dog, it is way better than sleeping outside. I always go potty outside, and alert foster mom if I really have to go. I like a routine, knowing what is going to happen makes me feel good.

I know I am not perfect but I try really hard to be a good girl. If you or anyone you know might be interested in adopting me. Please contact Cañada Hills Animal Hospital. I would love to meet you!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Elmer is looking for a home to call his own. He is a buff short haired tabby. He is a bigger cat weighing in at 16 pounds. He is also on the mature side, ~9 years old, but he still likes to play. He is very affectionate and enjoys being pet, and may come around to being a lap cat. He had to have some teeth pulled but is all healed up and is happy with both canned and dry food. He ignores other cats and is curious about dogs. If you are interested in meeting him. Please contact us.

Today is a sad day at the clinic. We had to say goodbye to our cover girl Cuddles. She was the best cat!!! She has been part of the Cañada Hills team since 2012. Some of you may have met her as we often used to her demonstrate how to give injections, fluids, and pills. Her spectacular temperament and gorgeous blue eyes made her a staff favorite over the years. We are all devastated by the lose and she will be greatly missed😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

ADOPT ME!
My name is Monroe. I am looking for my furever home. I was found running the desert in January by a Cañada Hills Animal Hospital employee. Since being found I have been spayed, vaccinated, and treated for mastitis. I am currently undergoing treatment for heartworms. Treatment involves daily pills and a couple of injections in May. I didn't even know I had heartworms till foster mom tested me. I am not suppose to exercise, while going through treatment, but I love to play ball and go for walks/hikes. It helps me relax when foster mom is gone. I have grown to like my foster dog brother. I didn't at first. He is very big and didn't understand personal space. Now I look to him for guidance on so many things. Lots of things scare me but he is not scared of anything. So, I try really hard to be like him. Foster mom is still my favorite though. I like being at home with her. I met a kid once she was alright. I licked her sticky face. She did not grab at me which was really nice. I have 2 foster brother cats. They are extremely friendly and like to snuggle a lot. I don't like to that much so I just move. I do not pull on the leash, know some basic commands, and will load in/out of vehicle. Car rides are not my favorite but I am getting use to them. Sometimes they lead to extra specials snacks and hikes and not just the vets. I know I am not perfect but I try really hard to be a good girl. If you or anyone you know might be interested in adopting please share.
