Cappy is 3 weeks younger than Cash, & standing a little higher on a slight slope, but maybe catching up to him on growth. I'm happier every day with these 2 foals by Hollywood Hot Spot!

I remember driving with our stallion in Washington State while at a show...drivers constantly cutting us off on the freeway. There was some issue with the far right lane, only being allowed in it for a short period of time for some reason, maybe a carpool lane, so people constantly cut you off to get on & off the freeway.

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS (especially those unfamiliar with horses):
Please don’t cut in front of a horse trailer just because there’s a large gap. That space is there for a reason — it’s not that we’re driving slowly, but that we need extra distance to stop safely.

Horses inside the trailer need a smooth, steady ride. Taking turns slowly and braking gently helps them stay balanced. A sudden stop or sharp turn can seriously injure them — or even cause the trailer to tip over.

In the photo, the mare has very limited space, and her foal is lying directly beneath her. She’s trying her best to stand still and protect her baby. The best way I can help her is by driving with care.

Please be patient and give us room. Most people don’t mean harm — they just don’t realize what’s at stake. Thanks so much

Cash & Cappy having a mutual grooming....looks a little more like baby stallion practice on Cash's part. Freckles thought Cappy needed protection, but sunce Cappy can defend herself, I backed her off.

Cash is 3 months old today and just moved with his granddam, Freckles & Cappy to the bigger pasture next to the rest of the herd. He's been doing well out at night with them up by the house where I could check on them, so it's time to stop the milk buckets & continue weaning him from me. He'll be ready for his new forever home soon.
