Its with teary eyes we say Peaches lost her two babies, I believe there was an issue at birth as they looked like they had some internal bleeding and Peaches did have quite a bit of blood when having them. Nike's baby has stopped eating and has given up the fight, he was a very strong little boy.
Death is an accept part of breeding but in light of these deaths we'll be taking a break from breeding our rats to focus on our mice.

Nike gave birth to a single baby last night! Sadly for anyone that was interested in a baby from this pairing, we'll be keeping this baby for our own. Don't worry though, we'll have more pairings soon!

Clay got to come out for free roam time with Jax, but all he wanted to do was run up on top of his cage 😂

We're sad to say our dark brindle female did not make it through labor :'( she passed before she had any of her babies.

(Sorry for the poor quality photos!)This is one of our expecting moms! Any guesses on how many she'll have?

Two of our mice are expecting litters any day now! The babies should be majority solid brindle

A couple updates!
The baby mice are doing very well! A couple of them are already reserved and I'll be holding back a couple so if you want one from this litter contact me asap!
We also paired our other two mice does, we're expecting mostly brindles from those two as well

Also some sad news about Peaches :( she has developed a small tumor. However she was paired with Jax before it appeared so she may have a litter. We're not sure at the moment if we're going to sell the babies or not since we don't believe the tumor is genetic, but just a flook in her.
Nike has also been paired with Clay in case Peaches can't nurse her babies because of the tumor. So be ready for two little ratto litters!

More new additions! These three boys are from Kobi Rowand and in Vail. They are settling in well and we've started working with them to see who has the best disposition to sire our next litter. So far the brindle boy seems to be the best, and we may wait to get a Siamese girl before we breed the other two

We welcomed eight new babies into the world at 4:30am today! All born alive and healthy with no complications. Momma is taking great care of them as you can see from their prominent milk bands. Momma is also not showing any signs of maternal aggression which is a great sign that these babies will be friendly and pet quality!

Well it seems our pied brindle girl is pregnant! She hasn't been with a male at our location so we're not sure the colors or the behavior that will come out in there's babes yet. Once they're born they'll be handled and socialized and hopefully be open for pet homes. If not they will still be available as feeders. More pictures and updates to come!

09/05/2016

Thank you all for the new likes!
Right now we don't have a of of pictures and updates because everything is still coming into place. But we'll be posting every update and hopefully be having a photo shoot for the mice soon!
Thank you again! Have a great night!

As indicated by the slight change in the name and description of this page, we will in fact be breeding our mice! After realising there seem to be no mouse breeders in town we want to make more mice available to the people here. We will be working towards friendliness and health first and colors second. Hopefully can supply quality pet mice that are able to be handled and don't bite, unlike most corporate pet store animals.
It may be a month before our male is ready to breed, but we will announce when our first pairing takes place!
