Oh hi there! I'm Eduardo, a 1-year-old boy with a large personality looking for my furever home. It's been tough to find it, because I have seizures, which scares most people away from me. But as long as you give him his medications they do a really good job of controlling the seizures. Otherwise, I'm a very outgoing cat who loves meeting everyone and letting them love me. I'm super playful and love every type of toy. I do like playing with other cats and dogs, but I do need a semi-relaxed home to stay healthy. Please come say hi.

Hey, I'm Chance, a 7-year-old Shepherd mix with a playful yet relaxed personality. I'm deaf but I know basic obedience through hand commands and am kennel trained. I prefer to spend most of the day lounging on my couch or laying outside where I can birdwatch. I love naps almost as much as I love being cuddled and pet. I also like walks and chasing after tennis balls. I can play with other dogs, but prefer to hang out by himself. I’d love a home to loaf around in with a loving family. Hello, I'm Stella, a 12-year-old polydactyl cat. I'll let you paws to look at my adorable extra thumbs for a second. Aren't they cute? Anyways, I'm in search of my furever home. I'm very talkative, so I'm purrfect to gossip with. I can be a bit independent and like some alone time, but love attention has really grown on me. So I'll probably spend most of my time lovingly staring at you from nearby and asking for pets. I'd love to lay in bed next to you too and just watch tv! Our TV stars

Here are this week's dogs and cats going on Jersey's Journeys to find their forever homes. All of them are up for adoption at the HOPE Animal Shelter, Tucson AZ. If you're interested in adopting, please head to their website, Hopeanimalshelter.net for application information, or you can go to their shelter any day between 12 and 3pm.
- Maddie is a 5-year-old brown tabby cat, with the most unique ears in the biz! She likes her personal space, but she's pretty happy being around other animals, and she really loves being loved by people. She's very attentive and curious, and will tell you all about it!
- Stella is a 13-year-old black and white short-haired cat, who is polydactyl, which means she has thumbs! She's a sweet girl who is very vocal, and has grown very accustom to being loved. She can't get enough butt scratches, and she's an incredibly sweet girl.
- Trooper is a 2-year-old tri-colored shepherd mix. This super fluffy boy is really excited just to be here. He's friendly, and does a great little hopping dance. He would do great in a home with older kids (maybe 5 and above) and he doesn't really like small dogs or cats, but he might be okay with another big dog. He's a handsome boy with the personality to match, and really just wants the opportunity to love you.

Hi, I'm a 4 year old German Shepherd mix named Trooper. I have a very large and energetic personality and would do best as an only pet. But I am very loving and sweet with people, so I am more than enough love! Everyone tells me I'm big, but I'm pretty sure I'm actually very petite and can definitely be a lap dog. I would do best with a family with older kids since I don't understand my size. If you prefer getting your dose of nature by sitting on the couch and watching documentaries I'm your boy. I like very short walks and hanging out at home the rest of the time. I'm still waiting for my furever family, and I think you might just be it! So come meet me 12-3 pm Tuesday-Sunday.

Hi, I'm Maisie. I was rescued from a hoarding situation and am looking for a furever home. I'm pretty independent and am still getting used to affection, but I am starting to enjoy being pet. I'm very confident with the other cats and would enjoy some furry friends at home with me. I love playing and adapt my play so I can play with everyone. I also loving running around for the sake of it. With a bit of patience I know I can be an amazing companion, so come give me a chance to make an impression. Meet Hailey, a 5-year-old border collie mix full of playful energy and love. She is a goofy girl full of silly antics that always makes the staff laugh. Hailey is very energetic and loves running in the yard, going on walks or hikes and playing with toys. She loves to play tug and is really good at it! She is an attention hog and prefers to be an only dog but does like playing with other dogs. When she isn't playing, she likes being pet and curling up by your feet or looking out a window. Hello, my name is Moon and I am a young cat that came from a hoarding situation. I’m pretty shy still, but I warm up to new people quickly if they are calm. I prefer to spend my time cuddled up in a nice cat tree or quietly exploring my surroundings. I do love head rubs and back scratches and will purr while getting them. I get along with other cats and dogs, but would prefer calmer animals to quietly play with. Once I come out of my shell I know I’ll be a great addition to the family. Billy has been adopted! Second time's the charm. And he is so happy with his new canine friend. They are basically inseparable! We could tell he will be loved so much by his family, and we know he will find a thousand little ways to brighten their days! We are so happy for them!
