I had a great time working with Winnie! She’s a 12 week old Golden Retriever. It’s always fun working with puppies. It helps to have shorter training sessions, plenty of rewards, and with some breaks in between. I’ll have to take a video of her next time so that you can see how attentive she is!

I had a training session yesterday with Cassie! She’s a sweet dog and expertly posed for this picture. She was recently adopted and has a devoted mom. We had a chance to work on reactivity exercises and not jumping on guests.

It’s our rescue-versary! 8 years of helping shelter dogs! As the rescue world becomes harder and harder, we continue to do what we can to help the pups who went from someone’s trash, to our absolute treasures! If you can, please donate to help us continue our goal!

I had a Fun Friday session with my new friend Oliver. We had a chance to work on overcoming reactivity and fearful situations in his neighborhood. Warmer weather can present more opportunities to work through these challenges. Oliver’s happy disposition and his interest in chopped hotdogs were a good pairing. He did a great job, particularly given his active neighborhood.

Meet Cleopatra – Queen of Cuteness! 👑
This smart little pup isn’t just adorable, she’s royalty in the training ring! 🎀
Cleopatra LOVES to learn, so much that her adoption comes with sponsored training to keep her mind sharp and tail wagging. 🐶
She’s spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her age-appropriate shots. And guess what? If you’re her perfect match, we’ll even help with transportation! 🚗
If you’re ready for a loyal, clever companion who’s ready to rule your heart—Cleopatra is waiting! 🩷
I had a fun time working with Plum! She was adopted from ! As warmer weather arises, it can present more opportunities for reactive behavior. This can be towards people, dogs, or other objects. I enjoy problem-solving with clients to find ways to overcome these challenges!

Starting the day off with some positivity, because who doesn’t like puppies?!? Here’s Sadie, a 5 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel working on a “place” cue. She got this exercise down relatively quickly!

The fun doesn’t stop……I had a chance to work with Chelsea who I was informed was at the shelter for 3 years. She’s settling in great with her new family. We had a chance to work on dog-reactivity based exercises as well as leash walking. Great job Chelsea!

I had a fun training session yesterday with Igor! He was recently adopted by a family that adores him. Igor is such a happy dog, I feel like this picture expresses that.

I had a great session yesterday with Lucy and her parents. One common challenge I receive calls about is related to jumping and mouthing. Though it can be challenging to deal with, this is a common behavior. Lucy did a great job with learning some alternative ways to get her parents’ attention. Great job Lucy!
Training tip: Warmer weather can provide some great opportunities to practice outdoors!

I had a great training session with Bandicoot, adopted from Do Only Good Animal Rescue! Jumping is a very common challenge with dogs. They are often excited to greet family and friends. Bandicoot did a great job with learning some new habits to get his parents’ attention!

Welcome to Dog Training with K9 TrainEd, I am excited to work alongside you and your dog! My name is Ed and I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Canine Good Citizens Evaluator (CGC) with the American Kennel Club. I provide dog training sessions in home, using Force-Free Methods.
My goal is to simplify the training process and provide you with solutions. Every dog is different and we at times may need to revise a training strategy, which is totally normal. It doesn’t mean your dog is broken or unfixable, there just may be a better way to train them.
I look forward to the journey and watching your dog learn during this process. Should you have any questions, please give me a call, text, or email! (Contact Information Below). I’m happy to walk you through a strategy and offer tips & tricks.
