As rewarding as it is to bring home a new pet, especially one you’ve adopted from a shelter or rescue, we know it can sometimes be challenging.

At our shelter, dogs are returned more often than cats. Many times, they weren't given enough time to adjust. When you introduce a new pet to your household, be sure to keep the 3-3-3 guidelines in mind!
