𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿!

If you’d like your horse to be eligible to run at the Young Guns League Futurity & Derby, it all starts with yearly nominations beginning their weanling year.

Here’s what you need to know:
✔ Annual Nomination Fee: $220 per horse
✔ Due Date: August 1 each year - 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝗦𝗧!
✔ Late Nomination Fee: $350 if paid by December 1

𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑵𝒆𝒘𝒔! You don’t need AQHA registration papers at the time of nomination. Just send in the sire and dam information to get your horse enrolled — you can send us the papers later once you have them.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝒂 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔?
No worries! As long as you keep your horse nominated every year, they’ll stay eligible to compete at the Young Guns League event— even if their sire is no longer part of the program.

𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔!
If a stallion has been added to the Young Guns League roster in 2025, you can nominate horses of ANY AGE by him for that year only. Same nomination fees and deadlines apply: $220 by Aug 1, or $350 by Dec 1.

All the new stallions this year are in PINK - so you can get those older horses enrolled in 2025!
