❤️❤️ Has found her furever❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well, I see I haven't posted since December 23rd...ooopps...I suppose that means that whatever an algorithm is, no one will see this....🙂
I am still currently walking this Earth and will have a couple more F2 litters. At the moment, I have two young, retired breeders looking for homes. These aren't easy ones and I had resigned myself to simply keeping them, but I realized I wasn't giving them or "you" the benefit of the doubt. I will make a post for each of them. This one is Frost's.
Frost is an F2 (and not one of the big ones), born March 2, 2023 from my F1 Sindyr. She's always been exotic looking and as I said, she is not a big kitty. She grew up with my younger Serval, Raistlin, and four other girls. She was spayed on February 23rd and I've been waiting for the "hormones" to calm down. Most times, they become an entirely different cat.
I believe she likes cats better then she likes people. And she's like that joke where you say "SQUIRREL" and everybody (dogs) drops everything and looks? In her case it would be "CAT TOY". She has zero problems with other cats, simply really doesn't care, unless its cuddle time, then she has to groom them all. When it comes to people, she adores attention, but bites. And that's the kicker. You can be petting her and she's purring, arching her back, loving it, and all of a sudden, bites your finger, and bites HARD. I've had F1 and F2 that bit before, or grab your hand when you're walking, but they usually stopped after being spayed. And, Frost only started doing this after she was put into an enclosure alone to heal from the spay. When I visit, she is almost frantic to the point of jumping on my back when I'm scooping her litter box. So....is she so bored and trying to say something? Hates being alone and bored? Before, when she lived with her girlfriends and Raistlin, she would enjoy the attention and then walk off to play. That's where I'm wondering if I'm not giving her the benefit of the doubt? I haven't been able to bring her into the living area, since her spay, as I've had pregnant girls. So.........
I would recommend a home with NO children. And absolutely, some other pet or pets. If another cat growls or hisses at her, she arches her back and none such, but just tries to calm them down by ignoring them or watches them warily until she can walk away. I am hazarding a guess, that if she had pet or pets to play with, the "energy" that is causing her to show displeasure to the only human (at the moment) that gives her attention, would probably go away.
Conclusion: She is not a lap cat. She is not for someone who expects her to cuddle under the covers and purr (at least not without some heavy play and heavy drugs....LOL), I, personally, at this time in her development, would expect to get bit in my sleep and would probably wear uncomfortable chain mail to bed.
Others: Not a picky eater. Likes to play in water. Will play with ANY toy, doesn't matter what it is. Spot on in the litter box since birth.
Please feel free to text or call if you like to speak about giving Frost her furever home. Thank you
