Happy Tails, Rusty NKA Finn! 🐾❤️

Sometimes the best stories are the ones where a dog quietly settles into exactly the life he was always meant to have. While Rusty has been home for about a month already, we are thrilled to officially celebrate his adoption!

Rusty NKA Finn is absolutely adored by his family and is thriving in every way. He and his canine best friend have become inseparable companions, spending their days playing together and enjoying life side by side. One of the most heartwarming updates has been watching Rusty build confidence through agility work. How cute is that? Seeing him learn new skills, have fun, and gain self-assurance has been such a joy.

His easygoing personality continues to win everyone over. Rusty has made many dog friends at the dog park and seems to have never met a dog he doesn't like. Not only do the dogs enjoy his company, but the people at the park have fallen in love with his friendly and gentle nature as well.

Recently, Rusty enjoyed a spa day, and the employees couldn't stop talking about what a well-behaved boy he was. That is a true testament to both Rusty's wonderful temperament and the dedication of his family. Raising and training a puppy is no small task. After all, what puppy is perfect? His family has remained consistent with training, guidance, and love, helping him continue to grow into the amazing dog we always knew he could be.

Most importantly, Rusty is treasured. He is cherished, celebrated, and loved exactly as every dog deserves to be. For a rescue dog, there is nothing more beautiful than finding a family that sees them as a beloved member of the family.

We are so happy Rusty found his forever home in Livermore. We have always had a special place in our hearts for our Livermore adopters, and Rusty's family is no exception.

Thank you for giving this sweet boy the life he deserves.

Yesterday, Chandler and his fur siblings decided that staying home was far less exciting than embarking on a neighborhood adventure. They spent their day sniffing garbage cans, making new delivery driver friends, introducing themselves to neighborhood cats, and even considering a dangerous game of "chicken" with passing cars.

While their adventure may have seemed fun to them, it could have ended very differently.

Thankfully, our community is filled with incredible people. One quick-thinking Good Samaritan was able to safely secure two of the dogs, while another amazing citizen stepped in and helped get the third dog to safety. Because the microchip information was not up to date, finding the owners took some time and a lot of teamwork.

As soon as Tracy Dog Girls Rescue was notified, we rushed into action. We posted throughout the community, shared information everywhere we could, and eventually connected with the owners through the Ring app. Assistance from the microchip company's records, which helped identify the previous owners, also played an important role in bringing this story to a happy ending.

This truly was a community effort from start to finish.

The best part? Everyone learned something valuable. The owners will now be updating the dogs' microchip information, and TDGR has offered to provide a free microchip for the one dog who was not chipped yet.

Moments like these remind us why community support matters so much. Every microchip we provide, every lost dog we help reunite, and every family we help keep together is possible because of our supporters. Rose. Your neglect ends today

Rose's Neglect Ends TODAY

2 hours ago, Tracy DogGirls Rescue saved little Rose from a life of neglect.

When we arrived, she was tied to a tree on a lead that had become wrapped around a chair, leaving her unable to move more than a foot in either direction. She had no food. No water. Her tiny body was nothing but skin and bones. Covered in fleas, filthy, and scratching nonstop, she was suffering in silence while the world continued around her.

The moment the call came in, Kristina dropped everything and rushed to help.

From her point of view:

For me, this rescue was about so much more than Rose.

On July 1st, I sat beside a German Shepherd named Rosie at this very same property. Rosie had spent years suffering. Years without knowing the love, comfort, and care every dog deserves. As I held her gently in my arms during her final moments, I kissed her forehead and whispered a promise.

I promised Rosie that no other dog living on that property would endure what she had endured.

I promised her that I would do everything in my power to stop the neglect and suffering.

As she took her final breaths, I held her close. For perhaps the first time in her life, she felt gentle, loving hands. Then she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and into Heaven.

That promise has lived in my heart every single day since.

So when the call came about Rose, there was no hesitation.

Knowing I was going alone, I recorded the entire interaction for safety and rushed over because Rose's life depended on someone showing up. Thankfully, the owner surrendered her to Tracy DogGirls Rescue.

Rose even had a rope tied around her neck.

But today, everything changed.

The neglect ends here.

No more starvation.

No more thirst.

No more fleas eating away at her fragile body.

No more loneliness.

No more suffering.

From this day forward, Rose will learn what it feels like to sleep safely inside a home. She will learn what clean bedding feels like. What toys are. What kindness is. What it means to be cherished, protected, and loved as a member of a family.

She will finally get the life she should have had from day one.

This is not the first animal we have helped from this property. Alongside my rescue friend Angela, we have removed puppies and kittens from difficult conditions over the years. Animals that deserved so much more than what they were given.

And we will continue watching. We will continue advocating. We will continue speaking up for those who have no voice.

Because animal neglect does not stop when good people stay silent.

If you see an animal suffering, please don't look away. Don't assume someone else will step in. One phone call can change a life. One report can save an animal from years of pain.

Because advocates spoke up, a promise made to Rosie was kept today.

And because of that promise, Rose's new life begins now. ❤️

Well, folks, the DNA results are IN for our Bridge puppies, and let's just say… we are SHOCKED! 😳

Apparently, someone threw 12 different dog breeds into a blender, hit MIX, added a whole lot of CUTENESS, and out popped our Bridge babies! 😂🐶

This sweet, large-breed puppy was secured in Mountain House, and thanks to an AMAZING foster family who stepped up, Socks is now learning what it means to be part of a loving family!

He's discovering the joys of living in a home, being surrounded by children, and receiving all the love and attention a puppy could dream of. And guess what? He's already completely adored! ❤️

These two adorable little nuggets are believed to be Chiweenies, weighing in at approximately 8 pounds each!
💙 Joe – Male, approximately 4 years old

Although they're not littermates, they came into rescue together.

Now, here's something we want everyone to know. ❤️
Not every dog comes into rescue because they were neglected or unloved.
Joe and Mia were truly loved and exceptionally well cared for. Their previous owner stepped up to help in a difficult situation and did a wonderful job ensuring these two had everything they needed.Ultimately, their owner felt Tracy DogGirls Rescue could help find them the very best forever homes where they could continue to thrive for the rest of their lives.

Brisket AKA Biscuit, now Lola Bunny, is living her best life! ❤️

When her adopter drove more than two hours each way to meet her and introduce her to their sweet male dog, it was love at first sight. Biscuit's tail never stopped wagging, and she practically dragged me over so she could be closer to him. By the end of the meet and greet, she was ready to follow them right to their vehicle.

Today, Lola Bunny is absolutely adored. She spends her days in a beautiful home that backs up to a golf course, soaking up love, comfort, and endless adventures. As we suspected, the male adopter quickly became her person, and the bond they share is something truly special.

Biscuit came to rescue after the amazing team at Blazier Exhibits and Events in Tracy secured her and cared for her. She became the shop mascot, and Hayden loved her dearly. Knowing she needed a home better suited to her long-term needs, he reached out to TDGR for help.

When Biscuit arrived, she was heartbreakingly thin, abandoned, and left wondering why the people she loved had let her go. Thanks to Hayden and the Blazier team, she got her second chance before it was too late.

Now, Lola Bunny will never know abandonment again. She is cherished, safe, and loved beyond measure. She spends her days enjoying walks with her furry brother, relaxing indoors with her family, and living the life every dog deserves.

Stories like Lola Bunny's remind us why we do what we do. ❤️🐾

Happy Tails, Ahsoka! ❤️🐾

Some stories begin with uncertainty but end exactly where they were always meant to.

Ahsoka came to Tracy DogGirls Rescue after being trapped along with three of her siblings. Sadly, we do not know what happened to her mother, and there was one additional sibling that had been spotted but was never found. What we did know was that this little puppy deserved a chance at a safe, happy future.

Thankfully, Ahsoka found her way into a loving TDGR foster home where she was truly cherished while waiting for her forever family. She blossomed into a smart, social, and confident young dog who absolutely loves other dogs and is always ready for her next adventure.

Today, she is thriving in her forever home with her family, and the bond she shares with her human brother is something incredibly special. Being the same age, they have grown up side by side and have quickly become the very best of friends. You can see the connection between them in every photo. We have a feeling these two are going to be amazing partners in crime for many years to come. Mom and Dad, watch out! ❤️

Ahsoka also enjoys spending time with her canine companion, her grandpa's dog. Together they go hiking, exploring, and enjoying the great outdoors. She has become an incredible off-leash dog, a testament to both her intelligence and the dedication her family has put into her training. Great job, Mom and Dad! We love seeing families invest in their dogs and help them become the very best versions of themselves.
