Tracy DogGirls Rescue does not offer rehoming services, but when a family reaches out who have done everything possible to adopt a shelter dog and paid for experienced trainer and still it is unsafe, we step in to help the best we can.

🌼 Meet Daisy - a sweet girl in not great environment for her due to no fault of hers. Great Pyrenees/Husky mix 1+ year old spayed, microchipped and vaccinations up to date.

Daisy is an incredibly sweet girl who adores hugs, belly rubs, and being close to her people. Her DNA test shows she is 39% Great Pyrenees, 26% Siberian Husky, and a blend of other working breeds — and her personality reflects the best of both worlds.

🏡 Her Story
Daisy was adopted from a high‑kill shelter in San Joaquin County in November 2025. After recovering from kennel cough, her family slowly introduced her to their two resident dogs — a senior male GSD and a younger female lab/GSD mix.

Despite months of effort, professional training since January 2026, and a committed family doing everything right, Daisy and the established female dog have not been able to coexist safely. This decision to rehome her is heartbreaking but responsible, made with Daisy’s long‑term happiness in mind.

💛 What Daisy Needs
Daisy will thrive in a home that understands large‑breed working dogs and can offer structure, love, and space.

Experienced large‑breed home
Preferably the only dog
No cats — she chases cats and squirrels
Secure fencing and room to roam
Adults or older teens — she has not been around young children
Someone home often or retired — she loves companionship and adventure

She would be a wonderful match for someone who enjoys walks, car rides, and having a loyal companion by their side.

🌟 A Loved Dog Who Deserves the Right Home
Daisy has been cherished every single day. This is not a dog being “given up” — this is a dog being protected, with owners who are doing the hardest, most selfless thing: choosing the environment where she can truly thrive.

If you or someone you know can offer Daisy the loving, stable forever home she deserves, please reach out.
Let’s help this beautiful girl find her perfect match.

🌟 A Night That Reminded Us Why We Love This Community
Last night was everything we hoped for and more. The turnout was incredible — friendly faces everywhere, people laughing, connecting, and showing the kind of respect and kindness that makes Tracy feel like home. This is the true Tracy we love.

Our rescue dogs absolutely thrived in the energy of the night:

Four‑month‑old puppies Lucy and Leo — soaking up love in the AC room with a constant circle of admirers

Shiloh — our young Malamute girl who became the star of the evening, with a line of people waiting just to meet her.

Hazel — our 3‑year‑old American Bully, confidently working the crowd

Kai — our handsome young Alaskan Husky boy, charming everyone he passed until he snagged food from an unexpected new friend

All of them behaved beautifully, soaking in the attention and showing the best of who they are. Every single one is available for adoption, and last night they each found new fans who saw just how special they are.

💛 Gratitude for Our Volunteers
We couldn’t have done this without our incredible volunteers — the transporters, the dog walkers, the booth managers, and everyone who spent the night talking to attendees about our rescue.
Your dedication showed in every wagging tail and every meaningful conversation.

We handed out so many cards… we actually ran out. That’s the kind of “problem” we love to have.

🎉 Thank You, Tracy
To those who organized this event — thank you for giving our community a night to remember. Tracy showed up, showed love, and showed exactly why we’re proud to serve this city.

What a fun, heart‑filling night. We’re still smiling.

Stormi: The Rescue an Entire Community Fought For
Some rescues shake you.
Some remind you why we do this work.
And some — like Stormi — show what happens when a community refuses to look away.

For 3–4 weeks, this tiny girl survived inside a storm drain. A concerned citizen watched day after day as Stormi remained trapped, terrified, and starving. AC Signs were posted telling people not to feed her, not to intervene — but this woman couldn’t stand by and watch a life fade away.

She sought help.
And she found it.

🛠️ Enter Theresa & Mark — Cruisin 4 Paws Professional Trapping Team
Theresa Nicholl and her husband Mark arrived, assessed the situation, and immediately got to work. This wasn’t a simple “set a trap and wait” situation. Stormi had retreated into a tiny 8-inch pipe, far too small for anyone to reach her.

So Mark did what only the bravest rescuers do:
He climbed down an extended ladder 10+ feet into the storm drain and began removing trash — bag after bag — filled with cockroaches, ants, bugs, and debris. He handed each bag up to Theresa, who emptied it and sent another down.

Stormi watched from the tiny pipe, too scared to come out, but refusing to take her eyes off the people trying to save her.

A Plan B was ready if trapping failed…
But thank God, the trap worked.

After hours of patience and teamwork, Stormi was finally secured — exhausted, skeletal, and moments away from not surviving.

🛁 Next Stop: Pampered Pet — Because Stormi Was Ripe
Before she could be transported to her foster, she needed a bath. A serious one.

Theresa called Michelle at Pampered Pet, one of TDGR’s most trusted partners. Michelle didn’t hesitate — she said yes instantly.

Stormi was skin and bones, filthy, terrified, and defeated.
Michelle trimmed her nails, cleaned her ears, washed away weeks of grime, and gave her gentle, patient care until Stormi realized she was safe.

By the end, Stormi was wearing a fresh bandana and a look of gratitude only a rescued dog can give.

🏡 A Soft Landing With Janet O’Brien (Tracy DogGirls Rescue long term foster)
Janet stepped up the moment she heard Stormi was coming. She welcomed her into a calm, quiet home where Stormi could finally rest.

Stormi is estimated to be 4–5 years old, spayed (miraculously), and will be vaccinated and microchipped soon. She is exhausted, sweet, timid, and deeply grateful. For now, she is resting, decompressing, and learning what gentle hands feel like.

She will join other dogs soon, but today…
Today is about safety.
Today is about healing.
Today is about breathing again.

🩺 Her Medical & Recovery Needs
Stormi is receiving:

Deworming
Flea treatment
Premium nutritional food and supplements
Medical care
Time, patience, and love

Her body is depleted.
Her spirit is tired.
But her future is bright.

❤️ How You Can Support Stormi & Future Trapping Missions
To continue partnering with Theresa and Cruisin 4 Paws — and to keep saving dogs like Stormi — we urgently need:

Gas cards (Theresa must drive to locations costing $$ in gas)
Grocery gift cards (for trapping supplies)

Donations for Stormi’s medical care to Tracy DogGirls rescue

Venmo:
Zelle: 510‑846‑6054
Website: tracydoggirlsrescue.net
Facebook: Tracy DogGirls Rescue

All donations to Theresa, please mark according, and we will provide her with these donations to continue her life saving work partnering with us and other rescues every day!

And please support Michelle at Pampered Pet — a true God‑sent partner who always shows up for our hardest cases.

Stormi survived because people cared.
Because someone refused to walk away.
Because rescuers showed up.
Because TDGR never leaves a dog behind.

Her best life is still ahead — and we’re honored to walk her into it.

Huge Thank you to Theresa and Mark, Michelle and Janet for all stepping up and for every citizen who took the time to try and help and sent up prayers. It all matters!! :) TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAMS WORK!! TOGETHER SAVING ONE LIFE, ONE TAIL, 4 PAWS AT A TIME!

🇺🇸 Memorial Day — A Day Heavy With Honor, Not Celebration
Tradition says “Happy Memorial Day,” but there is nothing happy about today.
As a military mom, this day brings tears to my eyes. It is a day that sits heavy on the heart — a day of remembrance, grief, and gratitude woven together.

I grieve for every family who lost someone who served this country.
For the ones who never got to welcome their loved one home.
For the parents, spouses, children, and friends who carry an empty seat at the table and a permanent ache in their chest.

One young man in particular weighs on my heart today — one of my son’s friends in the military who decided that life, the pressure, and the heaviness were too much. The battle inside him was louder than the world around him. My heart breaks for his parents, his family, and everyone who loved him. They are here, trying to live with a piece of their heart missing.

To every family who knows this pain — we see you, we honor you, and we grieve with you.

Today is not a day of celebration.
It is a day of remembrance.
A day to pause, to reflect, and to pray for those who carry the true weight of this day.

May we thank those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
May we lift up those left behind, trying to find some sense of normalcy in a world forever changed.
And may God bring comfort and peace in a way only He can.

Please take a moment today to say a prayer for the families who are truly impacted — the ones who are grieving, remembering, and holding on.

🤣 Husky Adventure: The Agility Course That Agreed to Nothing
This morning our three huskies — Skye, Kai, and Bulleit — got the ultimate treat: a private dog park adventure in Manteca. And listen… the agility course did NOT see them coming.

Let’s break down the highlights:

🟦 Bulleit vs. The Hoop
Bulleit: “I am brave. I am strong. I am an athlete.”
Also Bulleit: attempts to jump through the hoop and misses by a ZIP code.
He landed with the confidence of a dog who absolutely did NOT just fail in HD.

🟦 Kai’s Life Philosophy: Work Smarter, Not Harder
While Bulleit was auditioning for America’s Funniest Home Videos, Kai took one look at the hoop and said:
“Yeah… going under is faster.”
And he was RIGHT.
Treat secured. Zero effort. Zero shame.

🟦 The Red Wheels of Doom
Skye + Bulleit + Kai: “Let’s go through together!”
The wheels: “Please don’t.”
They squeezed through side‑by‑side like three fluffy churros and almost got stuck.
10/10 teamwork. 2/10 spatial awareness.

🟦 The Jump obstacles
Bulleit: “I was born for this.” (clears it)
Skye: “Hold my leash.” (clears it)
Kai: walks around the jump like it’s a traffic cone
Again… treat secured.
Again… zero effort.
Kai is the CEO of Efficiency.

🦙 Bonus Round: Alpaca Encounters
The alpacas stared at the huskies like they were watching a reality show.
The huskies stared back like,
“Are you dogs? Are you llamas? Are you snacks?”
No one knew. Everyone survived.

🚗 Dutch Bros Victory Lap
After conquering (or avoiding) the agility course, they headed to Dutch Bros for pup cups.
They were angels in the car — like usual — and stayed in full Adventure Mode the entire trip.

🤣 Kona: From Roadside Runt to Bed-Hogging Queen
So picture this:
A tub of puppies.
On the side of a busy road.
Just… sitting there like a furry yard sale no one asked for.

Naturally, we did what we always do — panicked a little, grabbed snacks, grabbed crates, and launched into full “Rescue Avengers Assemble” mode.

Kona and her siblings were adopted fast because, let’s be honest, they were adorable and smelled only slightly like abandoned potato wedges.

But life happens.
Her adopter reached out with a medical situation in the family, and Kona needed a new home. We tried to move quickly, but fosters were full, tired, or pretending not to see our messages (we still love you all).

Then — weeks later — a foster finally raised their hand like,
“Okay fine, give me the gremlin.”

And BOOM.
Kona walked in, unpacked her emotional baggage, and immediately started thriving like she had a personal trainer, a skincare routine, and a therapist.

Her hair grew back.
Her redness disappeared.
Her confidence skyrocketed.
She took over the bed.
She took over the house.
She took over their hearts.

Within days the fosters were like:
“Yeah… so… she lives here now.”

🐾 Kona’s Life Now:
Has a better social life than all of us

Does zoomies like she’s training for the Dog Olympics
Sleeps in a bed that is technically the humans’ but spiritually hers
Radiates joy like a tiny, wiggly sunbeam
Has new friends at the dog park who probably think she’s famous

Her whole body wiggles when she’s happy — which is always — and honestly, she’s thriving so hard it’s disrespectful.

Kona didn’t just get a second chance.
She got a glow-up, a fan club, and a permanent spot in a bed she absolutely does not share.

🧡 Wow… just wow.
We said a prayer — and we truly didn’t know God and our community would show up in such an incredible way.

Two days ago, we were out of puppy food. Today, we are standing here absolutely overwhelmed by the love, support, and generosity that poured in after our post. We felt your encouragement. We felt your dedication to this mission. And we felt God’s hand guiding every single moment.

🐾 Your kindness is proof we’re on the right path
The puppy food and supplies that arrived in just 48 hours… it left us speechless. It reminded us that this mission was placed on our hearts for a reason — and that we are not walking it alone.
Your support tells us loud and clear:
We are on the right path.
We are doing the right work.
We are saving lives, one tail at a time.

🙏 From the bottom of our hearts — thank you
We push through the struggles.
We stretch our strength, our time, and our finances as far as they can go.
But you — our community — you make it possible to keep going.

“Thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what we feel right now.
But please know this: we truly felt your love.

📦 And the photos… oh my goodness
I wish everyone could have seen the disbelief on our faces when we came home and saw the mountain of blessings waiting for the puppies. It was one of those moments where you just stop, breathe, and say, “God, we see You.”

You are appreciated beyond words.
You are part of every life saved.
You are the heartbeat behind this rescue.

From all of us — two‑legged and four‑legged — thank you.
