I have quite the story and I know animal lovers and supporters like you will stick around to read all about it! I recently celebrated my 2nd birthday, which means I’ve been waiting with my rescue family for over a year now. If you’ve met me, you might know me for my famous crossed paws, my big goofy smile, and my brilliant mind. I love going on big hikes, playing with puzzle mats, learning new tricks (I already master Sit, Down, and Come!), and snuggling up on the couch the second the sun goes down. I’m house trained, crate trained, and love making dog friends! Cats are a little too mysterious for a straightforward guy like me, so I’d love a home where I can be your one and only comedy routine.

Recently, I went through a sudden medical nightmare when I experienced back to back grand mal seizures. It was scary, but I am a fighter, and I survived! My doctors figured out that what I have is idiopathic seizures, which just means my brain decided to be a little extra unique. The only real "side effect" you’ll notice is that I have increased appetite and need a few extra water refills which just means more opportunities for treats and love.

I know some people might hesitate when they see a medical note on a dog's profile like mine, but I’m holding onto hope that someone with a big, compassionate heart will see past it. My daily routine is super simple, and the doc and all my friends at the rescue said I have my whole bright life ahead of me, and I believe them with all my heart!

I was even featured on News 12 NJ Paws & Pals recently, so you’d be adopting a super star! 🌟
