Tillamook K9 Rescue Tillamook K9 Rescue is the main provider to assist Law Enforcement with found dogs. This shelter is accessed by appointment only. They will bring the dog to us.

No trespassing signs are posted at the entrance. Please call 866-364-7377 to be escorted onto the property. If you have found a stray or abandoned dog, please call TCSO Dispatch 503-815-1911 to pick up. We are volunteer and do not pick up animals.

UPDATE: Owner has been in contact with us.

This little guy was found today near the intersection of Fairview Rd. and Third St. in Tillamook. LE brought him in to us. No collar, not much info on him. Very scared.
He is now safe, dry and warm with Tillamook K9.

We have so much to be thankful for this season! Calvin found his new home today! November was busy with Scooter, Chonk, and Amber joining their forever families as well. And the community continues to come through with can donations that help us provide medical and daily care for our sweet shelter dogs. It’s hard to believe Calvin hasn’t been adopted yet! He’s such a sweet young fellow who is just so happy and willing to please, and Tillamook county is the perfect place for a border collie mix like him! Border Collies are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and incredible work ethic. They thrive with space to exercise, jobs to do, and people to love. Shelter life can be overwhelming for any pup, but for a herding breed like Calvin, it’s especially tough. He’s a loving, respectful boy who just wants a person to follow, adore, and snuggle. We have new pictures of Calvin!
This sweet boy is full of life — energetic, playful, and always eager to please! He’s kind and gentle, with a sensitive heart that just wants to make people happy. Affection is his love language, and he’ll happily soak up all the pets and cuddles you’re willing to give. Calvin can be a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up.

Calvin is very young, maybe a year old, and still learning some of the basics, like how to play fetch, but he’s trying hard and wants to learn everything he can. He seems like he’d get along well with other dogs, though we always recommend a meet-and-greet to be sure.

If you’re looking for a loving companion with lots of heart and even more potential, this guy might just be your perfect match! ❤️

Who we are and what we do

Tillamook K9 Rescue is the main provider to Tillamook County Law Enforcement for found dogs within our county. We are unable to take strays from the public and/or owner surrenders. We are not open to the public and only take scheduled appointments at our secured location. Our message line is 1-866-364-7377, if you leave a message we will call you back was soon as possible. You may have a quicker response via email ([email protected]) or messaging us on our page. All dogs we release are required by Oregon Law to have proof of a current rabies vaccination or a prepaid appointment at a veterinarian office prior to release.

Our Fees are as follows:

Tillamook County Impound Fee $30.00 K9 Rescue Intake Fees - 1st - $55.00 2nd – $75.00 3rd - $150.00 Daily Boarding Fee - $10.00 per day
