Meet Dr. Todd Russell!

If you've been to Pet Menders, chances are you've met him—our fearless leader and dedicated veterinarian.

Dr. Russell has been part of the Pet Menders family since 2003, officially taking the reins in 2019. Originally from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, he followed his passion for animals all the way to Michigan State University, earning both a Zoology degree and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine—go Spartans! 💚🤍

After moving to Colorado, he found his home here at Pet Menders, where he’s spent years providing top-tier care for pets and their people. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him cheering on his kids and various events or cheering on his favorite sports teams from the state of Michigan. At home, the fort is held down by a cat named Peggy 🐈 and protected by a mutt named Saylor 🐶. Those two keep the house in line for Todd and his partner Karim; as well as his daughter, Berkleigh, a fellow animal lover and aspiring veterinarian; and son, Maverick, an aspiring maverick.
