I have an unexpected but fun little change to our usual microgreens lineup for the farmer's markets this weekend.
Our regular Superfood Mix has been temporarily unavailable from my seed supplier. This inspired me to create my own signature blendโ€”and I think y'all are going to love it! ๐ŸŒฑ
Introducing ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐— ๐—ถ๐˜…: Purple Rambo Radish, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Purple Top Turnip, Blue Scotch Kale, and Astro Arugula.
The Market Mix will be available every week beginning Saturday, June 27, while we wait for the OG Superfood to restock.

They're finally here! ๐Ÿง…๐ŸŒฑโค๏ธ
The much-anticipated Red Burgundy Onion seeds have arrived.
I grew a small test crop of these earlier this spring, and y'all absolutely loved them. Since then, I've received so many messages asking when they'd be back...
The wait is almost over.
These little beauties will be lovingly sown tomorrow and will be ready for the market on July 11th.

For the past two years, Galia and her husband Kenny have been a couple of the familiar faces we look forward to seeing every weekend.
As a holistic nutritionist, she understands the value of nourishing food, and she's been a wonderful supporter of our little farm since our first days at Farmers Market On Grand Parkway. Whether they're stopping by for microgreens, bringing out-of-town guests over for wheatgrass shots, or simply sharing kind words, they're always cheering us on.

When we joined The Woodlands Farmers Market at Grogan's Mill we were the new farm working to find our place.
DD discovered us that very first day, and it feels like she's been cheering us on ever since.
Whether she's stopping by for fresh microgreens, a satisfying shot of wheatgrass juice, or simply coming over to say hello โ€” she always brings warmth, encouragement, and genuine enthusiasm. On busy market days, I've looked up more than once to find her chatting with customers waiting in line, sharing about her favorite microgreens and telling them about her experience with Root 1867.
Nobody asked her to do that.
That's simply who she is.
Kind.
Authentic.
Encouraging.
As a small farm, support like this means so much. We grow because good people share us with other good people. They remind us that what we're growing isn't just foodโ€”it's community. ๐Ÿ’š
