It’s been a while since I’ve been on social media—I needed the break. But when you care for colonies, there’s never really a pause. Between daily feedings and unexpected rescues, the work continues.

Recently, Otis was dumped at one of my colonies, and Taylor was left at another with a severe tail injury—she’s missing more than half her tail. Situations like these are heartbreaking and, sadly, all too common.

I’m reaching out to ask for help. I’m in need of food donations to continue feeding my colonies and caring for my current rescues—many of whom have nowhere else to go due to displacement or medical needs.

2025 has probably been the most trying year in rescue for me. I helped rescue close to 65 cats this year, and many of them came with serious medical needs. Those cases eventually forced me to put rescue on hold for the last couple of months of the year so I could regroup and focus on healing.

Sadly, within just two months, I lost three rescues and my sweet old girl. Each loss hit hard, and this year has been a reminder of how emotionally demanding rescue work can be. Even so, I’m proud of the lives that were helped and grateful for everyone who has supported me through the highs and the heartbreak.
Please consider an end of year donation so I can continue my mission.

💔 Goodbye, my sweet Delilah 💔

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to Delilah, my precious girl. I rescued her at the end of July 2025 — she was already spayed, gentle, and so full of love. Not long after, she was diagnosed with a heart murmur and kidney disease, and recently she started to decline.

Even though our time together was short, she made such a big impact on my heart. She slept with me every night since the day she came home and spent her days sitting on my desk, keeping me company. I’m so grateful she got to know comfort, warmth, and love.

Losing three cats in less than a month — Willow, Felipe, and now Delilah — has been heartbreaking. Each one brought something special into my life, and my home feels so empty without them.

Rest easy, my sweet babies. You’ll be missed more than words can say. 🕊️🐾💔

Its with the heaviest heart...on Tuesday November 4 I had to make the decision to let Felipe go. Felipe was my front yard Feral he showed up 5 years ago out of nowhere and claimed the chair. I noticed little over 2yrs he was having difficulty eating and re-trapped him for a dental...He has been inside with me since. Never recovering from his dental or stomatitis. I want to thank for being with him during his last moment unfortunately getting to him didnt pan out due to work, but I spent his last night finally petting him for the 1st time. He will forever be in my heart.

Today I had to say goodbye to my beautiful baby girl Willow 💔 Willow came into my life 18 yrs ago. I loved her so much she was my soul cat. She slept with me every day. She kept me company as I showered, washed the dishes cooked etc. Wherever I was Willow was right next to me. Willow was my heart and I will forever miss her by my side.
