Taka would like everyone to know that these “tiny foot prisons” were NOT part of his plan.

As funny as they can look, dog boots can be incredibly useful—especially during a Texarkana summer. They help protect paws from hot pavement, sharp rocks, broken glass, burrs, and other hazards. They can also provide extra traction for senior dogs or pups who struggle on slippery floors indoors.

If your dog has never worn boots before, expect an awkward introduction. Most dogs adjust quickly once they realize they can still run, sniff, and have fun.
If you try doggie shoes this summer, make sure your camera is ready… because the first reaction is usually worth saving. 😆🐾

Why do dogs bury their food? 🦴

It’s often an instinctive behavior called caching — basically saving something valuable for later.

Dogs may bury food, treats, or chews because:
• They’re saving it for later
• They feel like another pet might take it
• The treat is extra high-value
• They’re full but don’t want to lose it
• Digging and hiding things is naturally satisfying

Does your dog actually bury food outside, or do they “bury” it in blankets, beds, laundry, or couch cushions? 😆
