Willow in W.V.❤🐾

Willow in Wheeling, W.Va.

Willow is a year old petite girl full of energy and curiosity. She was born February 4, 2022. She is timid and takes a while to warm up to anything new to her – people, places, etc.

Willow loves to explore the fenced in yard with her foster siblings. She also loves to play with the foster cats in the house. She loves to take walks and walks well on a leash. Willow is still a puppy and likes to chew on things so she needs to be provided with plenty of dog toys and chews appropriate for her.

Willow was born with some issues causing her legs to be stiff and not bend properly but don’t let that fool you as she runs and climbs steps with no problem. She has been diagnosed with glaucoma and requires Dorzolamide drops in both eyes daily. She also needs the pressure in her eyes checked once a month. The drops and monthly eye checks will cost approximately $150.00. This is something that will have to be done for the rest of her life.

Because of her timid nature and small size Willow is not recommended for children under 10 years old as quick movements often scare her.

Ready for adoption in Ohio!❤🐾

Just adopted! 🐾

We have 2 puppies up for adoption that came to rescue when their breeders found that they had bred more dogs than they could sell. These puppies were born on March 6, 2023 and they came to us at 9 weeks of age. They have had their first puppy shots, been dewormed, examined, and found to be healthy. The mother is a purebred Cavalier and the father is ½ Beagle, ½ Cavalier.

For their new homes, we are seeking someone home much of the day, with another dog, older respectful child or an adult who is willing to play with the dog. These puppies love to run and play in the yard and need time each day to run, explore and play. A securely fenced yard is necessary, as these puppies have a lot of energy and need a safe play area.

House Training: Crate training has begun but the puppies need to be taken out often during the day; e.g., after waking up, eating, or playing.
Health: Excellent
Temperament: Sweet, playful, affectionate
Recommendations: Active, engaging person or family, fenced yard, someone home much of the time

Hi everyone, sharing some information on a little dog we rescued recently from a high kill shelter in Southern California... this little dog is so sweet! Her name is Lotty. My husband and I had to run down at the last minute to save her. Then to learn all of her medical needs, most importantly is her dental surgery.
