Did you know bengals go through an ugly ducking phase? Some kittens hit their fuzzing stage harder than others ! This is the same kitten ,at 12 weeks VS 3 weeks. The Asian Leopard (which is the closest ancestor to this feline hybrid) has kittens in the wild , these kittens need a way to protect themselves when mom is out hunting for food. The fuzzing stage is a way of blending in with their environment, making them harder to detect from predators. The fuzzing stage also affects bengal kittens between 1-14 weeks and sometimes longer . When their fuzzing stage goes away, they are left with a visible pattern and a sleek look to their pelt!🐾🩶🐾
