Happy Birthday (Gotcha Day) to my sweet prince Theodore Blake ❤️❤️

A year ago today I seen a post on a yard sale page of this very small skinny ferret needing a new home and I knew I had to have him I didn’t know why but seeing the pictures of this tiny little baby spoke to me and I knew I had to have him.

Theo has been one of the most difficult ferrets I have ever owned he is so independent and just rides his own waves we have had ups and downs. He has shown me patience at its finest and humbled me in ways I never thought possible but at the end of the day he is the sweetest little baby with an independence morality 😂

When you have had a long day and walk into your ferrets room and see this sweet babies face 🥹

She never has slept in the open she has a bed with a top on it that she hides in because in the 3 years I have had her after her previous situation she hides from fear and this is the very first ever time in 3 years she has slept anywhere else than that bed and it made my heart skip a beat finally after years of working with her through fear she made a huge step today sleeping in the couch 😍🥹
My momma heart is full today after a rough start to my day my Luna girl feels safe 🥹🥹😍😍😍❤️❤️

We have all heard it coming for over a week now so for everyone that lives in the USA we have a huge snow/ice storm headed towards the eastern parts of the states which can cause many to lose power so if your in this storms path prepare now for you little fur babies invade the power goes out. In my state we are going to experience freezing temperatures and a large 2 part ice storm over the weekend I am assuring that all my animals will stay arm with rechargeable heated blankets and making sure all power packs are charged and have a evacuation bag ready to go just incase the power is out for more than a few days!
I know in times like these we sometimes forget the little things but we know what’s coming and taking drastic measures to ensure we are ready for it.

A brothers love is unmatched for Luna.

Since the day we got Theodore he has played the “ big” brother roll for Luna after losing her late brother Finn she got really depressed instantly and I knew if not acting quick she would stay in grief and when Theodore came along it was an instant bound between them.

Theodore is only a year ish old and plays his “big” brother roll to a T for Luna who is 4 and I’m so happy they bounded like they have
