✝️🐣 Easter Isn’t Soft… It’s Sacrifice 🐣✝️

On Palm Sunday, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. 🫏

Not by accident. Not because He had to…
Because He chose to.

📖 “Behold, your King is coming to you; righteous and having salvation, humble and mounted on a donkey.” — Zechariah 9:9

The people were expecting a warrior.
A King on a horse. Power. Takeover.

But He came in humble… knowing exactly what was ahead.

The betrayal.
The beating.
The cross.

📖 “He was pierced for our transgressions… and by His wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

That’s not a fairy tale.
That’s grit. That’s sacrifice. That’s love most of us can’t even comprehend.

Around here, we understand hard work. 💪
We understand showing up when it’s not easy. 🕓
We understand carrying weight that ain’t light. 🪵

But He carried something heavier than all of it…
For all of us.

And three days later… the grave didn’t win.

📖 “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

That’s what Easter is.
Not just a story… but the truth that changed everything.

From our crew to yours—
We’re thankful, we’re humbled, and we don’t forget what was paid. 🙏🐎

🔥✝️ HE IS RISEN. ✝️🔥
Not quietly.
Not symbolically.
But in power, in truth, and in victory over death itself.

Between feed 🌾, hay 🌿, farrier 🔨, vet care 🩺, and everything in between—
owning a horse isn’t about saving money… it’s about commitment. 💯

✂️🐴🚨 Breaking News:
Local horse produces enough hair to knit a second horse 🧶🐎

It’s shedding season… and apparently, brushing once means absolutely nothing 😅

You brush… 🪮
You curry… 🐴
You question your life choices… 🤦‍♂️

…and somehow there’s STILL more hair 🤯

At this point, we’re not grooming —
we’re just managing a never-ending fur situation 😂🐐 (yes… it’s that bad)

Horses bring a lot of joy… 🐴
but nobody ever said they were cheap. 💸

Feed, hay, vet bills, farrier visits, tack, trailers, fencing… it adds up quickly. 🌾🧲🩺 But for those of us who love them, they’re worth every penny. ❤️

At the end of the day, horses aren’t just animals — they’re family. And family deserves to be cared for properly every step of the way. 🤝

My Simple Life Goals
1. More horses
2. Safe arrivals. Every time.
3. Zero oil spots in the driveway
4. No blowouts at 70 mph
5. Enough fuel money to do it all again tomorrow

Early mornings. Long drives. Quiet roads before the world wakes up.

This life isn’t always easy — trucks break, tires fail, and diesel isn’t cheap — but showing up for people and their horses is worth it every single time.

Grateful for the miles behind me. Ready for the ones ahead.

📖🐴 Continuing education is important… even in the barn.

We’re not saying your horse has a secret playbook…

But if hay disappears, gates mysteriously open, or someone “accidentally” forgets their manners at feeding time — we’re just saying this book might explain a few things.

How To Misbehave and Still Get Treats seems to be a bestseller around here.

In all seriousness, horses have the biggest personalities. One minute they’re angels… the next they’re testing the limits — and somehow still getting a cookie for it.

🏁❄️ Winter Olympics — Horse Edition Closing Ceremony 🐎

No medals were awarded.
Several egos were bruised.
At least one horse questioned all of its life choices.

From figure skating drama…
To ski jump regret…
To snowboarding with zero steering…
To biathlon confusion…
And finally 1,200 pounds of opinion in a bobsled…

It’s been a ride.

🔫 Winter Olympics — Horse Edition ❄️🐎

Today’s event: Biathlon.

For those unfamiliar, biathlon requires athletes to ski fast… stop abruptly… and then stand perfectly still while aiming at a target.

Now imagine explaining that to a horse.

“Okay buddy, we’re going to glide quickly over snow, then suddenly stop, and I need you to freeze like a statue.”

Meanwhile there’s:
• Snow flying
• People cheering
• Equipment clanking
• And something suspicious moving in the tree line

🎯 Biathlon
“Ski fast.
Stop suddenly.
Stand still.”
Yeah… no.

Let’s be honest — most horses would nail the skiing part…
The stopping would be dramatic…
And the “stand still and focus” portion would last approximately 0.7 seconds.

It started with confidence.
It escalated quickly.

Some horses would clear the jump and stick the landing.
Others would invent a brand-new move called
“The Rotational Regret.”

🎿 Ski Jumping

It always starts the same…
Horse at the top of the ramp thinking:
“I was born for greatness.”

Three seconds later…

“WHY did I agree to this?!”

🎿 Confidence at the top.
Questionable decisions on the way down.

You just know there would be:
• One horse that launches like a rocket 🚀
• One that plants all four feet and refuses
• And one that clears the jump… then celebrates before landing

Today’s event: Curling 🧹

Now technically, curling is about precision, teamwork, and strategy.

But if horses were involved…

It would immediately become:
“SWEEP FASTER!”
“WHY are we sweeping?!”
“WHO let the rock go?!”
“WHY is it coming toward me?!”

🧹 Intensity: high.
Understanding the rules: zero.

Some horses would treat this like a life-or-death situation.
Others would spook at the sliding rock and leave the arena entirely.
