Just picked up this little reactive fella Ranger for training.
He barks at everything (including me at pickup). He’s a little shy & didn’t want to come out of the in the car. So we’re going to build some confidence so he & his owners can live a comfortable, confident & non reactive life 😁 🐾 🇺🇸

There’s a lot of breeds I really enjoy training but.. A malinois will always hold the most special place in my heart.
They’re definitely not for the weak of heart but for those who can handle it (& maybe those who are a little unstable).. They’ll get it 😄

Well! I’ve been trying to find some new trainers for the team that would meet the criteria for some time now.
Had an interview with this morning and the second I saw her I knew she was hired.
She checked every box of what I was looking for, carries herself extremely well. She’s been a strength & conditioning coach for almost 20 years, which is an amazing carry over for training dogs. She also has some really well trained dogs that she trained completely herself.
I’m extremely excited for this addition to the team and I don’t think we could have found a better fit for the job.
If it tells you anything about her character.. We interviewed at 1 today and by 4 she was already learning and running reps with dogs. That’s the kind of work ethic we like around here.
She’s going to be learning/interning with us for a few months and then training dogs on her own. Even though i’m more than confident she’s capable of it already.

Oh yeah.. our dog Kona likes her & her poodle, Kona normally doesn’t like anybody 😂😂

We are hiring.
No experience required but it’s an added bonus, we are willing to train the right individual(s).
Must be stable, have a place to board dogs, willing to invest in a proper setup, RELIABLE transportation.
The most ideal candidates are LEO/Military/EMS, those with customer service experience. Servers/bartenders also make great trainers and are used to the fast pace, pressure & people skills.
This is not a job for you if you want to play with puppies all day, we handle real problems on a daily basis and the stress can be high but it’s a highly rewarding/life changing job.
