🎉 THREE LITTLE REASONS TO CELEBRATE 🎉

This past weekend, three Cauzican pups started brand-new chapters.

🐾 Jellybean (not shown)
🐾 Bambi (Fawn)
🐾 Grace ( black)

Three dogs who won’t be waiting anymore.

Three dogs who traded uncertainty for couches, toys, routines, belly rubs, and people who already think they’re the best thing in the house.

This is why fostering and volunteering matters.

This is why every share, every adoption event, every person who stops by our PetSmart table makes a difference.

Bambi and Grace found their families at our adoption event at PetSmart, 1759 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee.

Today we’re celebrating three happy endings… and getting ready to help the next dogs waiting for their turn.

Somebody explain why Boodha is still being overlooked. 🐾 Because this little guy is polite.
Well-mannered.
Sweet.
Social.
And in this video, he’s just out here playing with another dog like the good little gentleman he is.

He’s not trying to be the loudest dog in the room.
He’s not climbing the walls begging for attention.
He’s just quietly being wonderful… which honestly might be why people keep scrolling past him.

And that part gets us.

Because Boodha has known family.
He’s been with the same people since he was a puppy.
He grew up with their kids.
He knew the sounds of his house, the routines, the people, the life.

Not every rehomed dog was unloved.
Sometimes life changes, and the dog is the one left needing a new place to belong.

Boodha is a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix and he turns 2 on April 11.

He’s great with kids of all ages, friendly with cats, and ready to make friends with other dogs. His foster says he’s been really chill so far.

Now he just needs someone to notice him.

URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED. 🚨🐾
A family is asking for help, and we need foster homes. 🏡 That is the hard part of rescue people don’t always see.
We can want to help.
We can care deeply.
We can have the heart for it.
But without a safe home for the dogs to go to, our hands are tied.

These pups need foster placement immediately.

Individual fosters would be ideal, but if someone can foster the group temporarily while we work on individual placements, that helps too.

Cauzican provides everything.

Food.
Supplies.
Vet care.
Support.
Guidance.

You provide the home and love.

That is what we must have right now to step in and help this family.

If you have ever thought about fostering, this is the moment.

We really need **morning kitty care volunteers**. 🐱💛

Right now, most people reaching out can only help in the evening — which we appreciate so much — but our morning shifts still need coverage.

It’s just about **1 hour, one day a week**.

You’d help feed the kitties, clean kennels and litter boxes, and give them time out of their kennels to stretch, play, and feel like cats for a little while.

It’s quiet work. Simple work. But it matters.

If you’ve been wanting to give back, volunteer for a cause, or do something that actually makes a difference without adding a huge commitment to your life — this is one of those small yeses that means a lot.

We especially need help **Monday or Tuesday mornings**.

This would be a great fit for retirees or anyone who loves cats and wants a steady way to help.

Winnie is officially off the market. She is so excited to have her own family. Congratulations sweet ball of sunshine ☀️

Introducing Winnie, she is 8 pounds of bossy little sunshine. ☀️🐾

She’s 4 years old, chihuahua mix, house trained, and the kind of dog who makes herself very easy to love.

Winnie loves walks around the block, loves belly rubs, and is actually pretty chill in the house. She’s not a big barker either… unless a squirrel gets involved, and then obviously she has something to say.

She’s gentle with children, does well with other dogs after her quick little “just so we’re clear, I’m in charge here” introduction, and she even loves the neighbor’s cat.

Also? She barely sheds.

So if you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance little sidekick with personality, Winnie is sitting right here being adorable.

Holly and Sebastian need our community right now.

These Cauzican foster dogs, and their foster caregiver has loved them, cared for them, and stepped up for them in every way.

But right now, she needs help.

She is caring for four dogs, working, raising kids, and doing everything she can — but it has become too much.

This is rescue.

Sometimes the person who opened their home needs the village to open theirs.

Meet Holly. ☀️👟
Holly is sweet, independent, and full of personality. She loves to sunbathe, explore, and rearrange shoes.

Don’t worry, she’s not chewing them up. She’s just redecorating. Clearly, your closet needs her creative direction.

Meet Sebastian. 🤎
Sebastian is an extreme snuggle bug with one clear life goal:

Be near his person. Always.

He sleeps through the night in his crate, is incredibly sweet, and has the cutest reverse strip of hair down his back.

These two need a foster or adopter ASAP so we can help both the dogs and the person who has been caring for them.

He’ll be representing the “please come meet us” crew at the Cauzican Foster Meet & Greet this Saturday at PetSmart.

Alfie may not be the official fetch champion in his foster home, but he is absolutely committed to carrying his own ball, keeping up with the fun, and looking adorable while doing it.

And he won’t be the only one there.

Everybody notices the loud one first.
The bouncy one.

And then there’s Jack.

Jack doesn’t need to run the room.
He doesn’t need to make a scene.
He’s not trying to be the main event.

He’s the soft little guy waiting quietly for someone to notice him.
About 10 lbs.

Ember, One little puppy. One Saturday.

She doesn’t need a shopping cart.
She doesn’t need to be ordered, picked out, or purchased like a product.

A couch.
