It’s Malibu’s 6th birthday today!!! 😍🐾☀️ We love you so much, Malibu. You are the sweetest, most gentle, caring dog. You have the most special spirit. I’ve never known a dog to turn around and face a wall so the others can eat and drink first. He’s such a handsome gentleman. 🐾💛

When she’s not holding my hand, she’s holding my foot…and always holding my heart. ♥️🐾
Dixie is doing okay, as far as we can tell. ☀️ She has gone over to where the puppies were, but idk if she’s still looking for their food or for them! 🧐 I googled it, assuming there were studies about Momma dogs missing their pups, and as long as they stay with her until they are weaned, I’m reading that the Mommas know they’ve done what they’ve needed to do and are ready to let them move on! But who’s to say…we clearly know dogs have emotions, but we also know they can choose to eat their pups. 🤷‍♀️ But, just in case😘, we haven’t left her side and she is being smothered with love, as she always is. Ryker slept with us last night, on the floor, and Dixie was laying like a human right smack-dab next to him. 🥰😍 Dixie is definitely closest to Ryker, and it warmed my heart that Drake saw them snuggling last night!

10 THINGS YOUR DOG WOULD TELL YOU...

1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful: remember that before you get me.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me- it is crucial to my well being.

4. Do not be angry at me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment.

5. You have your work, your entertainment,and your friends. I only have you.

6. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understands your words, I understand your voice when it is speaking to me.

7. Be aware that how ever you treat me, I will never forget.

8. Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that could easily hurt you, but I choose not to bite you because I love you.

9. Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate, or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I might not be getting the right food, or I have been out too long, or my heart is getting too old and weak.

10. Take care of me when I get old; you too will grow old. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say: “I cannot bear to watch” or “Let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there, even my death.

Dixie still loves to, um, “arrange” the whelping box to her liking…we can keep these blankets straight! Lol!
I can’t believe these lil’ sweethearts will be 3 weeks old in a couple days! Their eyes are all open…they’re walking so much better (yet still so wobbly lol), and their awake hours are becoming more often…which we love!!! I just fall more and more in love with them every day.
We still have the little dark female available!!! The fact that she’s going to be her Mama’s mini-me is so special to us! She’s so unique, being so dark.
And don’t you worry, that little boy woke up and joined his sissies for lunch! Cutest lil’ chubby pups in alllll the land!!!

A few things to look forward to, as these guys are now 12 days old (can’t even believe that)!
I can see their eyes barely starting the process of opening, their little noises are getting louder and there are little barks here and there, the rolling around is looking more like army crawling and little walks now, and next week we will begin introducing potty pads!
By some miracle, we still have these two little females available…but they could find homes in a matter of minutes! We’ve had so much interest in them! The little dark one reminds me so much of Dixie when she was a puppy (go check out our posts of when we got her!)…we wondered if Dixie would be curly, and she most definitely is! This puppy of hers is def her lil’ mini me! Since Benji is an AKC Standard Poodle, I am fully expecting the perfect Teddy Bear curl!!!

We are so blessed to have these little sweet spirits in our home every day to love on! 🐾
We still have 3 available at this time…with tons of new interest daily! We want to make sure the go to the “best of the best” families. If you are not interested in adding one to your family, please share to families you know will give them a forever home! They’re going to be insanely gorgeous pups…they’ll be ready to go in May!
