It was an amazing weekend at the first New Jersey High School Rodeo of the spring season. After a long winter off, Team TTR came back as strong as we started the season. As a trainer it inspired me to watch these kids work through the snow, rain, hail, and ice, to prepare for this. The level of dedication and perseverance this group has displayed is second to none. There were a few horse changes, both expected and unexpected this weekend and it did not phase the group one bit. To top it off, this rodeo was a multi-state with our friends in Maryland and with the added competition, the group did not allow the pressure to get to them. I’m beyond proud of all of my students and cannot wait to see their successes in the future.

With the first rodeo out of the way I would like to congratulate all of my students.

These kids have been putting in overtime with their training and hard work and I couldn’t be more proud. Day in and day out they are coming for lessons, and when lessons can’t be scheduled they are constantly asking questions and sending videos of their own personal work for advice and improvement. They listen, take care of themselves and their equine partners, and overall they have determination like no other. The accomplishments keep coming and I cannot wait for the rest of the season. Thank you to all the parents for trusting me with your children’s education, and I’ll see everybody on the road.
