Winston isn't exactly a fan of water...unless it's on his terms. 😂

He's a little nervous around it, so we always try to make him feel as comfortable as possible.

This weekend at Lake Ontario, Gma decided that if His Royal Highness was going to have a drink, it should be served on a tray.

Apparently that's just the level of service Wheelin Winston expects these days...& honestly, we're all just here to meet his standards. 😂

Spoiled? Maybe a little.

We took a couple days off with the whole family & headed up to Lake Ontario to enjoy one of our favorite pastimes.

It’s always been a family tradition that the girls get stuck shucking the corn... but this year, Ricky (Winston's brother) got promoted to the corn crew too. 🌽

Anyone else do this every year so you’re stocked & ready for corn chowder season? Anyone else ready for soup season?

Ever wonder why our grooming appts can take so long? 😆

Meet Minnie & Dexter...two of April's regular little clients who apparently require time for a post-groom sibling inspection. 😂Every time one comes off the table, the tails start going & they have to check each other out!

It's these silly little moments that make continuous care so special...you really get to know them & all their little quirks. ❤️

But seriously...can we just talk about how stinkin' adorable long-haired Dachshunds are with those little legs?! 😆

For dogs with high anxiety, even getting into the van can feel overwhelming at first. This is Rosie. She is so content that she doesn't even want to get out! 😆

Often times after just a few appts, we see them go from nervous energy to calm & collective.

One-on-one care, patience, & trust really do make all the difference. 🐾

April out here with ear protection on, fully locked in while working on a very vocal husky 😆🐾

The husky is giving us a full commentary the entire appt… meanwhile April is tuned into her own world listening to a true crime podcast like it’s just another calm day at work. 😂

On one side: nonstop husky narration
On the other: murder mystery vibes

Honestly, it’s all about balance ❤️🐾
