Please help me wish our OG Dan a very happy birthday today! He taught my girls (and countless others) how to ride from the ground up and he’s the very best boy. He’s a youthful 24 years old today! Thank you for trusting his golden years to us .nowak_

Team OET is thrilled to announce our two new Assistant Trainers-Piggy (March) and Pippa (Funnell). Currently, they are shadowing me and learning but should be ready to take over early morning lesson slots soon!official .march

Team OET had a great time at the Stable View Eventing Academy! Pretty ribbons are fun but more important is the teamwork, encouragement and camaraderie everyone shows each other at these events!…but about those ribbons…
Alana came in 2nd in her novice CT and took Rico on his first cross country excursion (I think I finally convinced her that eventing may be fun…)
Addie won her Starter CT and got Pickles back in the jumper ring! He got some fire in his eyes and rocked around!
Elissa came in 2nd in her Starter horse trial (finally getting the red ribbon she’s been missing in her collection!) She’s ready to move up to BN next season.
Kala and Kicks did their first HT together and came in a respectable 8th. He’s a gangly baby and she’s worked hard to improve his flat work since moving him to Oakridge. The jumping comes easy once the flat work foundation is there!
Sully and our wonderful schoolmaster Dan went around Sully’s first HT and came in 3rd in a huge division! Dan is nearly 24 and loves showing kids the ropes! He is worth his weight in gold.
Our wonderful barn manager Nicole took Chief to his first HT since switching from ranch horse to eventer. They had a fun and educational weekend!
And finally, Ildi and her pony Stitch joined us this weekend from our local Salt Marsh Pony Club. They put in a lovely dressage test and stadium round, had an unfortunate stop on cross country and ended up 8th in their Intro division!
As always, lots of new things to work on to be even better at the next outing! I have the best job in the world.

Easy making this 2’9” grid look easy! This kiddo has got to GO in November. Come meet him for yourself! He events, fox hunts, trail rides, does a trail pattern, ropes…you name it, he’ll do it! He’s a sweet guy with nice ground manners and the shiniest black coat! His price has been reduced and he is ready for his new home!
