We are pleased to announce that Sunburst Stables has expanded its operation to a beautiful 450 acre farm located in Stokesdale, NC. (310 Christopher rd. Stokesdale NC, 27357). As a result of this exciting change, the name Sunburst Stables has been put out to pasture and the new location will be known as Blue Line Farm (visit our page at Blue Line Farm, previously Blue Line Eventing). Blue Line Farm will offer the same excellent horse care and management in a stress free, family friendly environment. The new facility will allow us to offer additional boarding options, an expanded lesson program, and extensive trail riding opportunities! Blue Line Farm features 38 stalls in two barns, a large outdoor ring, a covered ring, a dressage arena, a stadium jumping field, indoor wash stalls, a large, climate controlled clubhouse, and miles of beautiful trails. REDUCED!!
Ritzy is a 10 year old, 14 hand, QH mare. She has a great personality and learns very quickly. Ritzy is great walk, trot, and canter and is super steady over fences. She has been to several shows including CTs, jumpers, a horse trial, and has fox hunted first flight. Ritzy has schooled cross country including water, ditches, and banks (her favorite :). This mare is a very talented jumper and will have no trouble at 3'. She is currently jumping 2'6" courses with ease. Ritzy will make an excellent event horse and will also fit in the hunter or jumper ring. Excellent pony club prospect or games pony. Forward thinking but with great brakes, Ritzy is athletic and not suitable for beginners or very timid riders. Ritzy is sound, healthy and UTD on shots and coggins. Jo is an 11 year old 14 hh chestnut QH mare. She loads, ties, clips, and stands for the farrier. She is a very easy keeper, she does not eat much and she is fine barefooted. In the summer she shines like a new penny. She would be best suited for the hunters/ jumpers/ or eventers. She has an automatic step lead change, she steps over a 2'6" course with no problem, and she has some basic dressage training. She is ready to go into the show ring. her only problem is that she is very "mareish". She will threaten to kick and nip on the cross ties while being tacked up however, if you carry a crop with you while tacking she stops. She will also kick out at other horses under saddle if they get too close. She would make a great horse for an intermediate rider who wants to do some low level showing. The only reason I am getting rid of her is because I am trying to down size the herd and I don't have time to put into her. She can be ridden in a halter and lead rope ba****ck, otherwise she goes in a plain snaffle. Pm me if you have any questions or if you are interested. Thanks!

Timmy is a 13.1 hh 12 year old gelding with a heart of gold. He is very unique champagne paint with beautiful amber eyes. Sweet and safe, Timmy is also athletic and talented. He will make a willing partner from walk-trot to cantering fences. Timmy is sound and healthy with no vices or issues. He is ready to be your child's best friend and partner!! Join us for Morgan's 17th Birthday bonfire/ cook out! It is on Friday the 12th, at 6:00pm, at Sunburst Stables! This is a byoc event (bring your own chair) and there is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board right inside the barn on the kids room door! The more the merrier. Hope you can attend!
