Regular hoof trims from a capable ferrier are so important! If something doesn’t seem right don’t dismiss it. This poor guy has been needing his old foot taken off for awhile. Amazing that this horse got to where he could barely walk. After a few trims and foot soaking he’s on the mend.

This was a major project getting this horse to where she’s at today. Two years in the making and I have this mare almost balanced on her foot with the limb deformity. Her comfort level has improved greatly. A year ago the vet did not expect her to last much longer and today is impressed at her running around feeling great! ❤️

I’m so proud of these two young ladies! We have been working with their colts on training for the mustang challenge and they both placed in the top 5 in their division! Also taking 1st and 2nd junior competitor! Way to go girls! All that hard work paid off!

Here’s a recent hoof project I have taken on. I have been trimming Natasha every 4 weeks for the last 3 hoof trims. Starting to see a big difference. A few things were coming into play to cause this issue. She has been having her foot continuously wrapped with a supportive pad. You can now see she has close to a half inch of connected hoof wall coming down from her coronary band. The blue on her foot in blue kote for a spot of separation on the sole that was a bit rotten. She’s also been getting some cold laser treatments.

When you keep your horses on a regular trim cycle this is all you should see!
