QTK is AMAZED and BLESSED by PHOENIX! It is absolutely awesome what this little hot rocket has accomplished…
QTK Beretta’s Blazing Red Phoenix MH is now QAA!! WHY IS THIS SO AMAZING???? Just 9 weeks ago, Phoenix had 6 puppies via C-Section!!!! Being the good Momma she is, she nursed and cared for her litter until they were 5 weeks old. After that she continued to watch over her puppies, and snuggle them until they were heading home to their new families. Phoenix then slowly started getting back into training. She only trained approximately 2 weeks total since last August 2024 because of having multiple litters and living in Minnesota in the winter!! So we are extremely proud of Phoenix running the Field Trial and obtaing Second Place in the Qualifying earning her the QAA.
Phoenix was handled by Kelly at the West Central Minnesota Field Trial which they competed against some very good competitors Phoenix and Kelly proved that they are a team that can compete.
Phoenix might be little, but this little Rocket has the heart of a Tiger when it comes to training and competing but she also is a very good Momma to her puppies.
Quick Trigger Kennels is so grateful for our QTK Family that includes the clients and our trainers Ed Thibodeaux, and Jackie Thibodeaux of Satin Belle Retrievers, and Robbie Knutson of Tall Pines Retrievers who have helped Phoenix and Kelly continue to improve and achieve success. Each one of these trainers have taken the time to listen, to watch, to answer, and help train Phoenix and Kelly. They have taught her how to drive the little red Ferrari and how to slow down handling the Ferrari. We are absolutely so grateful for Ed, Jackie and Robby who continue to help Kelly and our QTK dogs get better and better. Phoenix is not done, she only just begun her training and competing for the year.
No matter where she goes Phoenix is happy happy happy bouncing around. QTK is so blessed with Phoenix and her big heart at everything she does.
Thank you to West Central Retriever Club, the Judges, the bird throwers, all of the workers who put on the event.

Let’s count them!! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Eleven… 11!!!!! Minnie x Thunder have given birth to some absolutely adorable puppies. As the pictures demonstrate, Minnie has been an exemplary mother to these puppies. It is remarkable to see how Mother Nature enables a first-time mother to instinctively know how to care for her puppies.

The pedigree health clearances genetics are all in hunting lab pedigree, which is attached. They are both clear on the genetic testing done by paw print genetics and also they have passed their OFAs.
