Annnnnnd we're back! Our first day back after the pandemic is this week, and we know the dogs and kids can't wait to be together again - look out for graduation pics and fun times ahead! 🤩
Dogs of Lincoln is a program put on by OSU's chapter of the ASV, the Humane Society of Stillwater, and Lincoln Academy. Local shelter dogs in need of a forever home are placed in Lincoln Academy classrooms during the week.
Each classroom is assigned one dog for the students and teacher to care for. The idea is to teach the dogs basic commands using positive reinforcement training to make them more adoptable while simultaneously teaching the students responsibility. This page specifically has been created to help keep volunteers informed about program events as well as serve as an open forum for discussion on improvements in an attempt to help the program thrive!!

Just wanted to update all our wonderful followers on this page! COVID-19 has certainly changed the look of our program this semester, but we are still reaching out and educating through Zoom as we get scheduled into the kiddos' busy schedules at Lincoln Academy. We are very excited to still have the opportunity and can't wait to see how Zoom provides new opportunities for our volunteers and students!
Please comment below if you have any comments or suggestions on the changes that have been made for this semester. Thank you guys for your support!!

Please pick three of the following volunteers from this year as your nomination for VIP. Each year at our banquet we like to highlight one person who has gone above and beyond, has been reliable, and/or has exceeded expectations. We would love your input on who deserves that title.
Don’t forget about tomorrow’s school wide pizza part at noon. Hope to see you there
If you want to go to the banquet but have a finacial complication then please contact Bayley. Every year we have people who offer to sponsor the cost.
Email [email protected] to RSVP
We still owe the kidos a pizza party so everyone that’s available please join us Monday at noon. They’re going to have some tables set up out front for everyone. Comment below if you plan on attending to visit with your students so I can add you to the pizza order. 🍕 ♥️ 😊
