Sales Policy 2025
All sales will be made within the constructs of Sunshine Hollow Rabbitry Sales Policy. When inquiring about or purchasing livestock or pets from Sunshine Hollow Rabbitry, the buyer(interested party(ies)) agrees to comply with the Sales Policy in its entirety, regardless of whether the buyer has read it or not. We reserve the right to change our policy. HEALTH
We guarantee that t
he rabbit is healthy to the best of our knowledge when it leaves our rabbitry. For local pick-ups, we will take prospective buyers through an examination of the rabbit so that they can see for themselves that it is healthy. For transported rabbits, we evaluate the health of each rabbit prior to transport. RETURN POLICY
Our return policy is that we do not accept them. Once a rabbit is paid in full, we do not give refunds. We also do not accept rabbits back into our barn. There is a very simple reason for it. When we sell a rabbit, we generally fill that slot in our rabbitry with something else, We no longer have space for it. We also can not guarantee the rabbits’ health nor guarantee it didn’t bring back any nasty illnesses. We are not responsible for ’’no shows” or failure of transport with a third or fourth party involved. We also do not give refunds due to the failure of the Buyer not arranging transport ahead of the rabbit(s) purchase. We do not give refunds to deceased, injured, or failure of delivery from the transporter. If given a deposit of 50% to hold a rabbit (local pick up), it is also NON-REFUNDABLE. DELIVERY/TRANSPORT
We accept transport with responsible transporters through the buyers expense. The buyer is responsible for arranging, paying for, and organizing transport. If the buyer arranges a transportation service for the rabbit, the rabbit must be paid in full. At NO time will we be responsible for what happens to the rabbit once it leaves our care. Once it leaves our hands, it’s the Transporter's (third party) responsibility. It is also the buyers responsibility to examine their rabbits once they receive them from a third party. Transport is at the Buyers risk. Some recommended transporters are Illusion Bunny Runners(Montana), Hoppin Trails Transport (California), KD Farms Transport (Kansas), and a private transporter Jennifer with Up North Pet Taxi(MN) and Pets Across America. We do not ship or flight transport rabbits at this time. SALES
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
We will hold rabbits needing transport for no more than 30 days after the sale of an animal. If additional weeks/months are needed, there will be an additional fee of $5 per day. Local pick-up sales will not exceed a hold for more than 7 days. A longer hold must be discussed prior to the sale(s) of the rabbit. If a longer hold is needed, there will be an additional fee of $5 per day. Bunnies must be 12 weeks or older to leave our rabbitry when using transport. This is to ensure the safety of the rabbit. We will hold rabbits with a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total cost if the rabbit is to be picked up LOCALLY. Rabbits leaving on transport require FULL PAYMENT. For local purchases, full payment must be made before the rabbit leaves our care. Once we receive Full Payment, we do not refund. It is a final sale. If the buyer neglects to pick up their rabbit(s) on the date both parties agreed on, all rabbits will be put back up for sale. A FULL PAYMENT is required for holding transport. The only exception for refunds or exchanges is in the event something happens to the bunny before the buyer takes possession (or leaves for transport). Such as death or physical trauma to the rabbit. If another rabbit is currently available, we would offer a replacement of equal value or offer a refund in that situation. Pedigrees will be sent out to buyers once full payment has been made. We are open to answering all questions about the rabbit’s pedigree prior to the sale. We reserve the right to cancel a sale at any time! All sales are final. This includes FULL PAYMENT RECEIVED AND 50% deposit (FOR LOCAL PICK-UPS). If you can not make delivery of the rabbit, then full payment/deposit is forfeited to the breeder. You must be 18 years or older to purchase a rabbit from us or have parental consent *all transactions involving a minor must be disclosed first and authorized verbally by the guardian to Sunshine Hollow Rabbitry
GUARANTEE
Each rabbit is fully examined prior to any sale. However, once a rabbit leaves our care, we are no longer responsible for injuries(DQs), exposure to illnesses, or death. This includes transporting. Rabbits are very susceptible to excitement and environmental changes. Once the rabbit leaves our barn, we cannot guarantee the rabbit's health and will not exchange the rabbit for another. Gender can not be guaranteed before the age of 12 weeks. We cannot guarantee your rabbits “winning” on the show table nor develop DQs during development, or trauma that occurs out of our care. We are also not responsible for changes in mood or damages done by your rabbit. Once it leaves our care, we are not responsible for any changes that may occur. Our prices are fair and firm. We have invested a lot of time, effort, finances, and blood, sweat, and tears into our breeding program.
