❤️❤️ Diggidy Dogs 💕 💕🐕🐾🐕🐾 is coming together day by day!
My original plan was to open at the new location today, and while it was a bit of a chaotic and turbulent landing, we made it! One month down, and with over 100 dogs already walking through the door, it’s truly starting to feel like home. 🏡🐾
I still have a long to-do list—gating, trim, more painting, shower board, and so much more—but I am getting there bit by bit. Thank you all for your support and patience as I continue to build this unique personal space for your pups! ❤️✨

🏆 The 10,000-Hour Rule is Real (And My Clippers Prove It!) 💈🐕

Let's talk about my Andis clippers for a second because I am genuinely in awe.
My clipper motor just finally gave up the ghost. I decided to do a little math, and in 2 years, it clocked in at 10,400 hours before calling it quits. The motor before this one? 10,200 hours.
Andis rates these motors for 10,000 hours.
I am absolutely amazed by how eerily predictable that is! They give you 10,000 hours, a tiny little bonus victory lap, and then—poof—time’s up! Talk about precision engineering. 🤖✨

Naturally, this sent me down a deep math rabbit hole about my time here at Diggidy Dogs Grooming:

⏱️ 104,000 hours: How long I’ve spent with clippers in my hand over the last 20 years.

🐾 1,000,000+ individual nails trimmed: And honestly, that is a very conservative estimate that completely excludes Saturday appointments! (My forearms and lower back can confirm this statistic is 100% accurate.)
