Kaigan Kennels Welcome! My name is Laurel and along with my husband, Frank we own an operate Kagan Kennels. We look forward to sharing our expertise with you.

Together, Frank and I have been involved in the sporting of dogs for well over 40 years combined. Welcome to Kaigan Kennels of Stephen City VA. We are a private Show, Breeding, & Boarding Kennel located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. As an AKC Breeder of Merit, our expertise lies among the Australian Shepherd, English Bulldog, English Mastiff and French Bulldog Breeds. We have been involve

Retirement ALERT….. Killian ( red tri) and Lil Red are ready for their next adventure.
 these two Mini American Shepherds ( mini Aussies) are sisters. Just four years young they have mature beautifully and ready to take a new path to being your amazing companion. These girls have ran our farm since they were wee ones. They love the water., they love their freedom, they love to hike! Extremely easy keepers!
Little red, the red Merle is extremely outgoing ! Her sister Killian is the direct opposite a complete and total introvert, a Moma’s girl.

I have a fantastic opportunity for those of you who live in the area of where we are located in Stephens City, Virginia… I have several French bulldog studs that I am looking to integrate into companion homes… What does this mean… I would like you to be within an hours drive of Stephens city and I would like to be able to place these boys in your care as your pets… I would be using them as our studs from time to time so I will need to have access to breed them from time to time, but would love them to have the opportunity of living in a home with there forever family… I’ve got lots of information to share please feel free to reach out to me by text or give me a call at 540-303-6591. Pogo’s Mini aussie ( Minature American Shepherd) working the barrier challange!!! This is an incredible exercise that we love to do with puppies at this age as it focuses on the puppies critical thinking skills in order to traverse a barrier and get to the other side. Once puppies tap into their ability to think critically for themselves this sets them up for a lifetime of success with challenges that they may come across!!!

Plus, having a tasty reward at the end of thinking through the challenge is always an added benefit !!

Typical morning at our house…. Skittles the bulldog rolling around on her fluffy bed, Biscuit the poodle playing with We**ee the frenchie, Biscuit is finishing up his training and is going home soon, she will be so sad they are besties, Trudie the frenchie grooming her daughter Splash - All this happens every morning whilie I drink my tea and get ready to head out for the day! I adore these guys!!!

It is truly amazing how smart these puppies are.
These Frenchies are about 10 weeks old now and are learning their basic commands. I’ve always say you cannot teach a puppy anything without their focus so focus needs to be the number one priority and boy these guys have it.!!!

We have two puppies, looking for a family to call their own one brindle boy with large white chest, and the brindle girl that has the small dot of weight on her chest.

These guys our little clowns with great personalities and lots of confidence!!!
Raising these puppies through puppy culture has really paid off !!
