Unfortunately, due to flooding and loss of power, we will be playing all appointments by ear this week.

We truly hope everyone is safe and doing okay after the storms. We know many of our clients may also be dealing with flooding, power outages, or damage.

If you would like to reschedule your appointment, we completely understand and will not be charging any additional rescheduling fees.

Our phone lines are also currently down due to the power outage. If you need to reach us, please TEXT us at 708-766-7029 and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

✨ GROOMERS — LET’S GROW TOGETHER 🐾

Pawtastic Spa & Resort is growing! We have our Steger, IL location and a NEW Whiting, IN location coming Fall 2026, and we’re looking for groomers to join our team.

We’re not just looking for someone to come in, groom dogs, and go home. We want groomers who want to grow their clientele, increase their income, learn, bring ideas, and grow with us.

We’d love to meet you if you:

- Have professional grooming experience
- Are confident and safe handling dogs
- Can do baths, prep work, desheds & full grooms
- Have experience with clipping, sc******ng & finishing
- Care about quality and the pet’s comfort
- Communicate well with clients & the team
- Are dependable, motivated & take pride in your work
- Want to be part of a team that’s growing

We’re open to different experience levels, and we want your schedule and earning potential to grow as your skills do.

🐾💚 A Little Pawtastic Update… 💚🐾

This one was a hard decision.

After going back and forth for quite some time, we have made the difficult decision to close our 24/7 Self-Wash Stations at 3218 Chicago Rd, Ste A,Steger, IL 60475.

The self-wash stations will remain open through the end of August, so if you have a membership or just want to come use them one last time, you still have a little time. 🛁🐶

I truly want to thank every single person who supported our self-wash side of the building. Whether you were one of our regular members, stopped in after a muddy day, or simply loved having a place you could wash your pup whenever you needed. It meant more to us than you know. 💚

We’re also working on a way to hopefully continue offering self-wash during our normal salon business hours, so this may not be the end of self-wash at Pawtastic completely. More details will come as we figure out what works best!

And because I know seeing the word “closing” can be scary…

OUR GROOMING SALON IS NOT CLOSING! 🐾✂️

Our salon will remain open and continue operating as normal. This decision is only for our 24/7 self-wash stations.

Sometimes growing a business means making hard decisions and figuring out what makes the most sense for the next chapter. We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who continues to grow with us through all of these changes.
