Meet Mishi Masho. He is a 6 month old Domestic Short Hair who was diagnosed with Calicivirus last week by Dr. Jackman. Calicivirus is a virus that can cause an Upper Respiratory Infection(URI) and an oral disease in cats. Mishi Masho was experiencing conjunctivitis (inflammation of eye lids), discharge from the nose and eye, and ulcers on the tongue. With help from the Urgent Care staff, Mishi Masho is feeling much better a week later, and we wish him a speedy recovery!

Today's the first day of summer! Summer is making a statement. The heat has been tuned up. Here's a few reminders.......
1-Check on your elderly family and
2- Only walk your dogs in the early morning and in the evening when the sun is setting.
3-if the pavement is hot for your barefeet, then it's hot for your pet's paws.
4-Make sure you drink plenty of water.
