All my puppies go home with a training package to get them started. Don’t make the mistake of waiting too long. Training from an early age is vital and helps build a strong bond between dog and owner!

TRAIN BEFORE YOU HAVE TO FIX.

One of the biggest mistakes I see dog owners make is waiting until there’s a problem to start training.

Pulling becomes unbearable.
Recall disappears.
Jumping isn’t cute anymore.
Reactivity starts showing up.
The teenage phase hits HARD.

And then we start looking for training.

But training doesn’t have to begin because something went wrong.

Build the foundation before you need it.

Teach your puppy how to engage with you.
Teach them how to settle.
Teach leash skills before they’re strong enough to drag you.
Build recall before you want off-leash freedom.
Practice neutrality before distractions become a battle.
Create structure, boundaries and expectations while they’re young.

Early training isn’t about creating a perfect puppy.

It’s about giving your dog the skills they’ll need for the life you want to live together.

Spend more time building and less time fixing.

A strong foundation now can save you months of frustration later.

Brie × Coach
Winter 2026

We’re so excited to announce an upcoming breeding between Brie and Coach! Expected to be bred within the next few weeks.

Brie is an exceptionally sweet, affectionate, biddable, and driven girl, with a beautiful off switch and a gorgeous dark, straight coat.

Coach is a confident, curious, affectionate, playful, gentle, and biddable boy who has earned his GCH title, reflecting his quality and accomplishments in the ring.

I’m so grateful to Big Bend Goldens for allowing us to use Coach in our program!

Together, this pairing is expected to produce puppies with strong temperament, balanced drive, excellent owner focus, and a naturally gentle, easygoing demeanor.

We’ll be taking a much needed vacation in a few weeks, so it’s meal prep time. I spent over 5 hours getting 110 meals (80+lbs) ready for our 5 dogs. Now we can enjoy our trip knowing they’re all set and feeding them will simple for their sitters ❤️
