HUGE shout-out to Scott Hanrahan in St. Louis - he just picked up his SECOND coop from The Easy Chicken! 🎉

Scott's got a smart setup going: he's using The Little Coop as a grow-out house for new chickens, placing it right in his existing run so his flocks can get acquainted safely. Nothing beats a gradual introduction when integrating new birds!

Love that his chosen options include the sharp gray paint, reflective roof, and wall and underfloor insulation, his chickens are going to be cozy all year round. For easy cleaning he also got removable vinyl floor.

🌿 Feeling under the weather lately and wishing I had the energy to be out there building more custom chicken coops and happy pet homes.

🐓🐾 There’s nothing I enjoy more than creating safe, cozy spaces for animals, and I can’t wait to get back to it.

📣 Just a reminder — it’s only me doing all of the custom builds, deliveries, full set ups and responding to emails, texts, and phone calls. Right now, I’m unfortunately too sick to even talk on the phone, but I appreciate your patience and understanding.

💭 This has been a reminder that we’re not invincible — we’ve got to take care of ourselves so we can keep doing what we love.

Custom XL Hut for Bethanie's Silkies🏡

Did you know we can accommodate your Silkies special needs? We recently delivered this custom XL Hut to Bethanie in the St. Louis area. She has some tiny Silkies🐣 in her flock, so we made a few changes to our standard XL Hut including a lower drop-down nesting box and access door, lower perches, and an extra-long ramp.

Check out how well the sleek gray paint looks with the custom aluminum black trim on the front corners and around the window, along with the two plug and play black accent lights. Bethanie also got the removable corrugated plastic flooring for easy cleaning, hardware wire on the window for safe ventilation, and convenient plug and play electric.

Sending THANKS to the Klingler family!

We headed out last month 🛻 to the Klingler's home to deliver this coop. They chose a Black Hen House with an 8-foot run and an additional 4 feet underneath. Other options include a prebuilt base, reflective roof insulation for year-round comfort, and hardware wire on the window for extra protection.

A HUGE SHOUT OUT to the Miklasz family! 🐔 🏡

We recently delivered this fantastic XL Hut with an 8-foot run and an additional 6 feet under the coop to the family's home in Wildwood. We love this look they picked with white paint and custom black aluminum trim on four corners, custom black trim around the window and two black accent lights.

They also selected some options for year-round comfort and safety, as well as convenience and efficiency for them and their flock. These are the winter prep package, water and food feeders, plug and play electric, an extended ramp, removable reflective insulation in nesting box for super easy cleaning if their girls happen to crack an egg, automatic door that has a solar panel with photo sensor and battery, dual solar fans with dual solar panels, and a predator skirting package. To finish this all off they also included reflective roof, wall and under floor insulation.

The Miklaszes went all out on this set up! Thanks for choosing The Easy Chicken for this truly custom order! 🐔

Alex originally purchased a Red Hen House with the options of reflective roof insulation for year-round comfort and hardware wire on the window for secure ventilation. He later ordered an 8-foot run with three additional panels for extra space under the coop. The completed setup, with optional feeders, ensures a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for his flock. We're happy to have helped him create the perfect home for his chickens! 🏡 🐔
