Katniss heard about and is raising you... Stick Out Tuesday? 🌿

Katniss is an adorable 5-month-old pup, and she's clearly the class clown!

This sweet girl came to us back in July through our Animal Cruelty Task Force. She was a very tiny pup who was in need of some TLC.

After a few months with us she has grown into a very smart and active pup!

Katniss is looking for a forever home that will keep up with her training and take her on fun adventures 🌄

Paisley is a 5-year-old Pittie mix!

This sweet girl had a rough start to life, but she is now ready to find a forever home where she will be spoiled and loved for the rest of her life!

Despite all that she has been through she is full of love.

Ceviche found his forever home!!

We shared Ceviche with you last week when he went on KSDK News to tell the world he wanted a forever home.

Who would have guessed that his perfect person would walk through the door!

This Gotcha Day update is magical 🔮

Matilda recently celebrated a year in her forever home!

"This is Matilda (formerly known as Osaka)! I rescued her from HSMO a year ago and she is the happiest little girl filled with so much energy! She is my first cat I’ve owned and she truly stole my heart.

She lives with her dog brother, Murphy, and they are truly best friends. Where there is one you can expect to find the other.

Matilda was the perfect addition to my furry family (she may have even convinced me to continue growing it🙄). I am so lucky to have adopted her and so thankful that the HSMO allowed for this possibility, by rescuing my sweet girl!"

Join us for a spooktacular night of furry fun on Friday, October 24th from 5:30-7:30pm at our Macklind Ave. location.

Dress up in your favorite pet friendly costume and celebrate the spooky season with the adoptable dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Missouri!

This event is purrfect for children ages 6-12 who love animals and Howl-o-ween fun.

He was an absolute ham and played it up for the camera!

Richie is a Black and Tan Coonhound mix! He came to us as a stray in August and has been waiting for a forever family ever since 🥺

October is Month, and we have the perfect pup for you! 🐾

Meet Ceviche!

Ceviche is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu and he was one of the recently rescued pups from our Christian County Rescue.

Ceviche was covered in mats when he arrived at HSMO. Our amazing team shaved him down and underneath all of that matting was a sweet dog who just needed a second chance, and we were ready to give him that.

Today Ceviche got to make his TV debut on KSDK News with Michelle Li 🤩

His tail was wagging the entire him 💕

We really felt the love this weekend! 🌈🐾

Thank you to everyone who came out to Tower Grove Pride this weekend!!

We loved getting to meet all of your pets, and even had some visits from recent HSMO alumni! 💕

This weekend was even better when two of our adoptable pups met their forever families at the festival!

We are so proud to be part of such a loving community 🐾🏳‍🌈
