Personally I’ve never liked watermelon but our pups do and it’s actually good for them. Add in some immune boosting blueberries and these treats look like a prrrfect summer do**in snack!
Watermelon & Blueberry Swirl Bites for Dogs
Ingredients
2 cups seedless watermelon (fresh, chopped)
1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen, unsweetened)
Supplements (optional)
1 tsp dog-safe collagen powder or goat milk powder
Instructions
1. Cut the seedless watermelon into chunks and remove any stray seeds.
2. Blend the watermelon into a smooth puree using a blender.
3. Add the blueberries (do not blend completely) and pulse once or twice to create a swirl effect, or stir them in whole for a chunkier texture.
4. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays.
5. Freeze for 4–6 hours or until completely solid.
6. Pop out and serve one at a time as a refreshing treat.
Storage
Store in an airtight freezer-safe container for up to 1 month.
