I get asked to pet sit very often, and I highly recommend Aunt Jill's dog sitting. This is an incredible deal you can't pass up. You can get credit for pet sitting just by donating to Gateway Pet Guardians!!
As many of you know, in addition to dog sitting full time, I am also the Program Director for Gateway Pet Guardians (GPG). Our service area includes East St. Louis Health District including East St. Louis, Cahokia, Centreville, etc. We work in impoverished areas to provide free spay/neuter services, emergency vet care and other resources like good dog houses so the community can take better care of their pets in addition to rescuing dogs in need like Mr. Bruno (pictured).
Starting tonight at 6pm, we have 13 brave staff and volunteers sleeping in kennels at our shelter for 24 hours to help raise much needed funds to allow us to continue our mission. This is our annual Slumber Pawty!

Starting now and ending Sunday at 6pm, for every $25 you donate to the Slumber Pawty, Aunt Jill will send you a gift certificate for $25 for future dog sitting. In short, you’re pre-paying for dog sitting and helping a great cause (and you can write off the donation!)!
Here’s what to do:

2. Comment below on which dog you chose to support (you can pick more than one!).

I am fostering Mr. Bruno. He came to GPG thin and heartworm positive. Heartworms are so hard on dogs and Mr. Bruno experienced severe complications following his first treatment and required a stay at the emergency vet. The good news is that Mr. Bruno is now doing well and on his way to recovery, but his vet bills totaled $3,000+. Your donations go directly to helping dogs like Bruno!
